Good idea to get back to tracking. Welcome home! We're here to help. :)

Eliminate as much sugar and flour as you can and if possible, ramp up your workouts a bit. How often do you work out now and for how long?

Are you kidding? Boast all you want!!! You look FABULOUS!

Hi, Matt! Thank you for sharing your story. Know that you've got a HUGE team of support behind you right here on MFP! Good luck on your transformation, which WILL happen!

Take a full body picture now....and don't look at it for a couple weeks. Then take another as you notice that you're shrinking. Compare the two. That will allow you to focus in on the truth, and not the games our mind plays on us. Good luck!

Wonderful, wonderful post! Thanks for articulating it so well to all that are struggling. I'm going to pass this on to some of my friends and customers who have large amounts of weight to lose and are easily discouraged. Thank you! Keep up the great work!!!

I actually find, for me anyway, that I don't gain on vacations ~ my challenge is snacking at night, and if you're in a hotel room, you can avoid that option easily. Do a lot of walking...as much as you can. If the hotel has a health club, take advantage of it. Split your meals with someone. Drink tons of water. And then…

Hi, Kelly! Welcome and congrats on your success and for being such a great, loving mom! Definitely let your children see that fitness is a priority of yours, too, and they need to help you find and set aside the time to do your own workouts. You're setting a great example for them and as LadyKendrick says....will make you…

I actually like the P90X bars from Beachbody. Chocolate Peanut Butter...tastes like a candy bar, so I usually eat half....it's pretty large. But it's a great "on the go" meal...

I'm doing Insanity too! I just consider it Aerobics, High Impact and while I think the calories burned is a little low, I'm ok with it, just like adini749. Better safe than sorry. :)

Hi, Heather! You will be amazed at how great this app works, so just stick with it! And congratulations on your new baby! I know how hard it is to work out when you have a baby around, but if you can squeeze that in at least 3 or 4 days a week, it's SO going to help. You can do this! Don't ever let yourself be discouraged.…

Great advice from everyone! Crockpot meals, plan ahead. My daughter uses a chalkboard (which she's framed and hung in her kitchen) and writes the menu on it every week. It's not only a cute decoration, but you get much more disciplined if you write it down. Plus, you can leave your hubby little love notes. :)

Sounds low to me, too. Good rule of thumb is to take your weight x 10. So, if you're 180 pounds, you'd eat about 1800 calories a day to lose weight. Don't go over 2000 or under 1200. Not hard and fast rule, but a good guideline.
