and I can't just start eating earlier either because one of my meds is timed around the last time you ate. So if I eat later, can't take the med till later, and then can't eat for 2-3 hours after taking. Want to get back to the days I was done eating by 10pm and even that late freaked me out...but that was a year ago..

Thanks everyone. Being raised by an anorexic mom kind of tainted all my ideas about food and weight. As you see in profile pice, I finally allowed myself dessert on Easter. First time in probably 2-3 years had dessert and only second time in my whole life (almost 23) having M&Ms

Thanks everyone. It's just hard because of a medical issue I am on a set eating plan so can't eat less. Guess was just scared I wouldn't have the same output and thus not need same input. But I just can't make it to spin today. It's just not going to happen. Fingers crossed weigh in goes well

Really? Yeah I know, it's hard. Had this thing since I was 6 yrs old and probably earlier because was raised by anorexic mom. She wouldn't even let her foods touch and would only use plastic utensils at some points because scared of calories spreading. But how about if someone else's food spill on plate? Then poured…

If want starch: Soups, oatmeal, pureed squash, popcorn (100-cal pack). If want fruity: Fruit and yogurt (own little parfait) Big portion raw/steam veggies (whole pack of mushrooms is only 60 calories) Granola bars, protein bars Pudding cup Chip-like: homemade pita chips, pretzels (can get unsalted), goldfish

I have the same issue where I am on the go every day 9 am to 6/7 pm and then have to fit in all my calories. I just figure it's what I have to do and if not stall progress not a problem.

Sadly I can't eat red meat or eggs either. And weight shot up overnight so likely was fat.

Have you tried VitaBrownies (50 calories, tons fiber, vitamins) or Vitacakes (100 calories, more fiber)? They are so good and really meet the craving.

I am currently maintaining and wondering if adding the 60 ish calories a day would cause weight gain basically.

So it's more just about doing it first thing in morning when wake up and less about the same exact time? Guess will be around the same time anyway once my classes start back ( I am a master's student). Thanks everyone. Tried weighing earlier this morning and showed 1.5 lb gain....weighed at the later time since ate at 2 AM…

So procedures can cause this weight gain? I think a lot of this fear is more than just weight gain, but also the potential of leukemia which sparked the procedure.

Just wanted to say I have gastroparesis too and the exact same issues. Feels good to know I am not alone. The sucky thing about gastroparesis I find too is that I don't feel hunger anymore and then I forget to eat. Lately this has meant eating a ton late at night....which of course causes flareup...which means appetite…

Yes, I have been diagnosed with OCD and it has gotten worse since I was moved into an abusive household....which is kind of when this obsession started...makes sense that now that I am leaving the abusers...I am wanted to lose the behaviors? Also, what I meant by "spread" was like if I wash something down…

my family does holiday cookies to kick off the winter season, but that's just us :) it's also nice to have crackers and cheese or a fruit tray to have before things cook. And maybe have others contribute a dish/dessert. As well...don't forget alcohol, soda, etc.

Think this has a lot to do with it too because I grew up not only under the control of an anorexic mom, but also in a financially hard situation. My mom prioritized getting herself designer clothes over getting us groceries, so food ran low. And that is kind of my fear. Will definitely bring this into therapy...thanks for…

It's still here. Giving it till Mon then may be dropping some of my plan. The weird thing is its all in my gut. Noticeably distended. Wonder if this means its food weight? Any ideas to make bloat go away. I look pregnant. Lol. Call it my food baby.

Light N' Fit makes great greek yogurt flavors for only 80 cals (have a caramel apple pie one to die for). Plus I've heard of people mixing those frosting creations packs in with vanilla or unflavored greek yogurt. most campuses have a university dietitian who can help you with all these problems and probably get you calorie counts. That's what I did in undergrad.

I like to put mustard and jelly together and spread it on bagels... I also like dipping breads/toasts into yogurt for some reason I also only like cereal if it is cold...like LITERALLY COLD. As in put it in freezer cold. I also like putting green peas in oatmeal.

Fiber one cereals Oats High fiber breads (these are going to be light breads like the 45 cal per slice one or if say low-carb) Also, magnesium helps with constipation. Prune juice is best heated if you try that.

I put it on toast and make a grilled cheese out of it. Or I heat it up for like 20 seconds in microwave and pour over potatoes. Also you can add truvia and heat it up for a sweet kick :)

Tried Stevia...HATED it. Found truvia...LIFE changed. I actually can't eat artificial sweeteners due to a GI issue, but truvia...man love that stuff.
