Someone already mentioned their coffee which is delicious! I love all their dairy. My absolute favorite thing is their sprouted wheat breads. I have loaves in my large freezer all the time. Mmmm! I feel a sandwich calling to me now.

Listen, Planet Fitness is marketed as a gym for the average joe/jane - not power lifters. It is cheap and cheerful and they strive to keep it a place where you can go, workout, and not feel you're doing anything wrong by NOT being a power lifter or power anything. Oh dear - yes to the Chinese food. This is a serious soft-spot for me. When we do go (a couple of times a year) I get egg foo yong and soup. I'll eat a small bit of the white rice. Minimal compared to what I'd love to eat which is a huge plate of fried rice with sweet and sour on the side. Ooooo that sweet and sour pork!

I love a good sandwich. So weird - but lots of Miracle Whip, hard cheese, and good deli on a nutty bread. Mmmm! . . . and . . . of course . . . ice cream!

No reason for you to feel badly. I get that it's a hard thing to be assertive because it doesn't feel polite, but a simple refusal is entirely reasonable! I always like to think, "don't complain, don't explain."
