  • many many years ago, a weight watcher leader explained that when the fat is removed from our fat cells, it is replaced with fluid (i don't remember if she said it was water)...then from there it is released and the cells squish flat (we never really lose them)...how true this is, i don't know...but it surely does explain…

  • have been a vegetarian for 18 years...am very healthy but overweight because i eat way too many carbs...you might want to add omega 3s in the way of flaxseed oil since you wont be getting any fish oil...there is a great fake bacon out there that you might consider trying...good luck
  • good for you enjoying those steamed veggies...i eat them all the time too...i usually eat them with a serving of brown rice...try roasting them too....as a vegetarian, i find i have no problem getting the protein i need from tofu, beans, veggies etc...i usually season them with whatever i think sounds like it will taste…
  • i agree with lulubar's idea to have healthy things in the car with you....and to eat them on your way there and on your way home...being supportive of your brother is so important to his well being...and to yours too....seeing you is probably what keeps him going and lets him know that he is not alone....blessings to you…
