There are 14 lbs in a stone. So when you weigh 276.8, that's: 19 Stone (19x14= 266) and 11 lbs. If you divide your total lbs by 14 to get the stones, you naturally get the balance expressed as a decimal, but as 1 stone is made up of 14lbs the decimal system doesn't apply (unless you use it correctly by multiplying your 0.8…

This happens to me too and it is so frustrating. If I have a glass of OJ in the morning, with some berries in my porridge, and an apple for a snack I am way over my limit. Its hard to know if I should be trying to cut down on my fruit intake, but doing that seems kind of wrong...

This sounds a lot like me. I haven't done any strength yet as I don't enjoy it, but maybe that's because I just want to burn calories. Also, just this week I've started to realise that I shouldn't really be eating back the calories for the exercise I was going anyway. So I am only eating the extra exercise I do. Two great…

Keep the stone with the avocado. If you remove the skin from the full thing and cut it up, put what you aren't using into a bowl, put the stone in with it, cover with cling-film and pop it in the fridge, it should last longer.

I've had the same trouble this week. Huge differences in my weight from one day to the next. Tuesday is the day I started on here, so from now on I'm going to weigh on that day and that day only, and at the same time every Tuesday. I have just been tormenting myself!
