I still see myself as fat. every day. That doesn't change if i weigh less or not. So I need to see myself as beautiful and work on…
  • If you have concerns or questions, then you probably aren't in the right relationship. You will know when you find that right person. Keep looking. Don't rush into anything just because he has to move. If it is meant to be, you will figure it out. And your biological clock has at least 10 more years. Chill girl!
  • when i'm not working out heavily I eat 1200 and lose weight. When I work out, i eat at about 1700 cals.. depending on my burn. My TDEE is around 1800. That means eating at 1200 is putting me at a 600 cal deficit .. so it's fine IF I"M NOT WORKING OUT. When I work out.. I measure my burn and I eat to keep the appropriate…

  • it depends.. Personally if I eat wheat I get bloated, but I have an allergy to Wheat, corn and oats. lots of people eat wheat without having issues. Good luck!
  • As vain as this sounds. Having men notice me.. A friend just told me that I was getting noticed at the bar and I was totally oblivious. In fact, a guy was almost in my lap showing me something on his phone and I wasn't even paying attention to the moves. Now that it has been pointed out to me, I'm much more aware of what's…
  • Do you know how many calories you are actually burning? Do you wear a heart rate monitor to understand what your actual burn is? What's your BMR? I'd guess that you aren't eating enough to lose any weight due to the amount of calories you are burning during your workouts.
  • You are going to get tons of advice. i would say to you.. Look at how he's made you feel and ask yourself if that's what you want for you? Love yourself first and then you can understand how to love another. You may lose weight, but you will lose it for you and to make yourself healthier and stronger. At that point you…

  • it sounds like cardio in general might be the same. That is part of getting in shape. Start with walks.. in fact, if you have a smart phone, download "couch to 5k" and you'll be running in no time flat. Good luck!
  • I started drinking hot water with a slice of ginger and the juice of half a lemon in the mornings about 12 months ago! I love it. I'm so very lazy though so I just squeeze the juice from the lemon into the cup and then drop the half in also so I get the flavor from the rind as well as the juice and the ginger. I honestly…
  • several times.. and will try and get to every continent at least once in my life.
  • I've had mine for a week and I LOVE IT! I had a fitbit which was a fine starter tool, I also have a Polar FT7 and wear the bodymedia every day! Love it! I wish I bought the link and not the core, but it will do fine for now.
  • There's one lady at the gym that thinks bras are optional and her hair is never out of place! Another guy that gets on the treadmill and he does his little stretching routine. I die laughing every time I see it. He only runs for like 10 minutes then then goes to lift weights. Very funny watching him stretch for the weight…

  • general weight loss will help, but if you start lifting you can help build muscle which definitely helps bring tone to the area! Good luck!
  • I quit Jan 2010. Loving it! Started getting healthy August 2010.. never looking back!
  • I eat 6 times a day. Not sure I'd call them all meals, but I'm keeping my metabolism going by feeding it every 2-3 hours.
  • I pack salads and my own salad dressings. A kitchen isn't required if you can get grilled chicken and throw it on your salad. Eat enough to ensure that you have an appropriate deficit. I often pack a can of tuna and some wasa rye bread and mix it with some olive oil and vinegar dressing and have that with celery. No…
  • I did move to the USA from Canada. If I were to move now, I might consider Malta so that I could just get away from it all!
  • I'm a 40 something and I'm starting back to get my degree. Hopefully next fall!
  • I have the magnesium every day.. at night before bed. It helps balance my hormones and allows me to relax and sleep better. Also it helps with bowel and colon health. (yes it helps me poop) I've been taking it nightly for the past 12 months. I've missed days here and there, but feel bloated and uncomfortable when I don't…
  • It sounds like you love him, but are you ok with taking 3rd place in his life? I understand the pain, but at some point you deserve to be number 1. D should be fine with putting his daughters first in many cases, but always? I'm not sure that I could do that. It would breed bitterness and resentment, however much I tried…
  • I'm in my 40s with OA in both knees. Osteo Necrosis in my knee also. It's rough but I will need both knees done in the future. Here's what I'm doing... Physical therapy in the pool to strengthen the knees without weight bearing. Core strengthening in PT and quad, hip activation to strengthen the supporting muscles I expect…
  • Just relax.. work out, eat and be good to yourself. You didn't gain it in a day.. Measure your body! then instead of the scale, measure again! Try that for a few weeks. Don't expect change in a week or two. This is a commitment. Building muscle will lean you out not make you lighter!
