i guess I'm sort of in this club. my a1c was 9.2 when it eas tested three weeks ago. my doc gave me three months to bring it below 6.5 or i go on meds..... i am open for suggestions. my biggest deal right now is trying to get in enough foods and them not be foods i'm sensitive too (this is a new thing for me..) one thing i found helped prior to my complete change in foods I can eat... was i would print out a blank calender and right out which meal i would eat that day... all…

and this is why i pay a trainer... he is always there, and he still gets my money whether i show or not. and since he is not cheap i go and if i miss without letting him know you can sure bet he is blowin up my phone.

born and raised near Amarillo. Currently live in arizona. And yes, the southern raising has definitely been negative to the nutrition aspect of this.. especially having discovered i am sensitive to a lot of those foods i was raised on...

i use one with the garmin 610. i like it a lot... only issue i have found is if there is more then one hrm within 3 feet when you turn it on, it doesnt know which one to choose.

I do squats, I do dead lifts. I prefer dead lifts to the squat machine (hate the machine). However, squats (non-machine) are incorporated into far more things because they are so versatile.

too much sugar in your diet... non natural sugars (cheerios, milk, smoothie, ice cream...) cause the body to crave more making you feel hungry. switch to more natural sugars. watermelan, strawberries, fruit...

I have a garmin 610. it does intervals, has gps, a pacer, hrm (optional), touchscreen and it vibrates on the interval changes. Its a lil pricey,but some of the lower ones have the same options.
