  • While not an allergy, I am trying to use fewer bananas with smoothies as it appears to be a go to. Here are my banana less recipes. My favourite: Cucumber Lemon Ginger Smoothie: Half a cucumber (I keep peel on but les bitter without) 1- 2 Handfuls of Spinach or leafy greens (estimate) Grated Ginger to taste (you can use…
  • Congratulations on your marriage! I'd love to join you in this journey. I am recently (about a year) a vegetarian myself, and have had to embark on a whole new eating process, which has subsequently seen me not seeing the same results as before. It would be nice to have support as I recommit to this. I have committed to…
  • I just recently got back to MFP after a bit of a hiatus. I'd love to join you on this journey. Feel free to add me. I am definitely up for the motivation part, as I don't have a lot of that in my non virtual life.
  • I do a full on run a few times a week on this program, it could be stalling my weight loss it could not be, I have not really done the checking. However, I am working with a PT now and doing boot camp 2 days a week for a full body cardio workout. My coach says that is fine, I am watching what I am eating and drinking and…
  • 90days today on IP Phase one. I am down about 16lbs and 9 inches form my waist. I am a cheater on this plan, so it takes me a while, but I am super happy with it and finally hitting a grove. Hope to be at my goal weight in about 2- 3 weeks. Good Luck to you, feel free to add me if you want, my diary is all open.
  • @wseakell great job! It is awesome seeing people so successful, especially in comparison, I have 14lbs down since March 1st. I have your friend request my Diary is open as well, though I am a pretty basic eater. @kgabriele1993 Good job! I have consistently been loosing 1- 2lbs a week and I am happy with that, even when I…
  • How did this week go? I let me coach talk me down from taking a week off and I was so happy I did, down 5lbs, so the initial 2+lbs I put on and then an additional 2+lbs, wihoo! Good motivation to keep it up, but still having those cravings.
  • Thanks @Kevidona. I appreciate that, my coach is off on maternity and she has someone filling in. I just took these few days off, I just need to recharge I think... then be back on track after Thursday. I have an event on the 9th, so I am hopeful it will be motivation. The stalling is really wearing on me though, like you…
  • So I am finding that weightloss is quite stalled, and now all I want to do is cheat on this IP. Any suggestions to help those cravings?
  • I find that the 3pkg is fine for hunger purposes, right now it seems to be the sweet tooth I am fighting, once again. Any suggestions? Also @Kevidona, for the 3 pkgs, I found that having the first one later in the morning worked way better for me. So I would have my coffee(tea) then about an hour later have package one,…
  • It is nice to see all these results. I am down about 10lbs now and 5 inches on my waist so far, but have been on 6weeks now and stalled for a bit... Any suggestions on how to boost it again to keep the 1lb/week loosing streak up.
  • Hi, I am about 4 weeks into the Phase One on IP. I have been looking for a group, seems this one has faded a bit over the years. It would be nice to have some more support on the program as it can be difficult to explain. I love it so far, I have stalled out a bit, but also cheated over the Easter Weekend. Back to it now.…
  • IP for me right now is $88/ week CDN for the three IP food packets, this will include your weekly check in and consultant. It then goes to about $40/week on phase two and $20/ week phase three. It saves me a lot on groceries though, as I am now only buying fresh veggies and protein products. Essentially taking out all the…
  • I have not noticed a difference with menstruating and the weight loss cycle, but everyone is different and I know my consultant said it is a possibility. Mine was contributed to cheating, mmm homemade Mediterranean food, could not turn it down. Something for me to watch this month. We did do measurements after a months…
  • My second week was not too bad, slowed down considerably though almost by half which I was told is normal. My third week had some cheating so I was up .2lbs but by the end of week three and now week 4 I am back on track and for 1 month of the program I am at 11lbs lost so I am happy with that. My measurements are tracked…
  • @jazzine1 Thanks, you are right, I should have been more specific with my intention on Calories and Sugar in respect to this forum, I appreciate your clarification. The IP consultant advised that for this program and myself having some Vodka Club Soda will not count towards my calories and carbs as long as it is moderation…
  • I too was advised to just watch the calorie intake, normally white alcohols, vodkas, gin, mixed with club soda or tonics have no calories and little to no sugar intake. Also anyone finding that exercising is stalling this process? I am hitting a wall still and was reading last night that you are not really suppose to…
  • That's awesome. I'm right there too, down 7 lbs but cheated a little too much last week... hopeing for a good weigh in this week.
  • Happy to read so much success...might have to try Walden farms
  • I stopped the food network. I agree I think it was making me crave the yummiest. found lots of recipes on Pinecrest so I am determined to try some. This week's weight in was not good. My boyfriend has been pretty good at dinner, but might have to send him to the grocery by himself.
  • Not going to lie, this week has been horrible for cheating and I can definitely tell the difference in how I feel. Not quite sure what happened lol
  • Ideal Protein. I am really liking it so far.
  • I am on the IP program right now, 2.5 weeks and about 7lbs. Happy with it. Actually enjoy most of the products. Feel free to add me to see my food diary.
  • Just curious how people are coping on this. I am about 2.5 weeks in and down close to 7lbs, but I am finding I crave some sugar now, normally not a sugar person. Any suggestions, jicama and cinnamon are good but I am finding that I had a few reeses peanut butter cups and now feel like I cheated myself.
  • Ya I find it is the easiest for me to follow. I'll dress it up with spices. But ill put broccoli, peppers mushrooms into it. I use pea shoots in my smoothies with Kale sometimes too to get my veggies in. They are really good in the chocolate
  • That is amazing I'm happy to read people are doing well. I'm now 10 days in and last weigh in 3.8lbs down, so im hopeful. I'm missing sugar right now so will power I'm hoping kicks in.
  • How did you find it with keeping a normal daily schedule. I am 3 days in and already working towards putting my social occasions into context.
  • A veggie and Beef/Chicken stir fry in a wok works great, or steam everything first. I add my Sea Salt to this and then some spices/herbs depending on how I feel.
  • Just started March 1, 2015, So not too much into it. Trying to use it as a way to kick start and teach some better eating habits. Plus the drinks in the morning are so convenient. Feel free to add me, I am working with the Nutritionist with Ideal Protein and a PT that are in cahoots so I am hoping for some good results.…
