P.S. To everyone, One of the things my nurse practitioner told me to take along with my prenatals is an Omega 3 Fish oil pill. She said it is incredibly beneficial especially in early pregnancy because the EHA and DPA helps with brain, eye, immunity system and CNS development and good quality pills don't have the toxins…

Hi All! I am very excited to join this thread :) My husband and I have a 4 1/2 year old daughter and I am due April 17th with our 3rd baby, yay! We had a very easy time getting pregnant the first time and I had a very normal pregnancy and delivery. I started at 170 and was at 200 when my daughter was born which wasn't…

I would love to join too :) Currently @ 175 and looking to get to 140 - 145 but 20 lbs. by October is about my goal for now :)

I actually keep a private blog that I write in once a week (Sundays) where I record all my stats ( Current Weight, Lbs. Lost that week, BMI etc.) and I write about my weight loss and fitness that week. I find it helps clear my mind and I can write about my successes and failures. I often read back the entries and it helps…

Wish I could help... I wear 2 sports bras plus a sports tank with built in bra and still bounce ;)

^^^ Love this!! You are NOT fat!! I am 5'5" and my ultimate goal weight is 140. For someone that height and weight you are well within a "normal weight" BMI so don't take it to heart! Dealing with scum like him stinks but just stay classy and shrug it off... his drunken opinion has absolutely NO merit whatsoever so don't…

I love doing quesadillas... never thought to cook it on my george! I am going to try this tomorrow :)

I am on day #22 and I can definitely feel the difference.. i have lost 12 lbs. doing it and my calves and thighs I have noticed are getting the most toning. I still have a ways to go before I can "see" my muscles, but just tonight while flexing i could feel my abs tucked in there getting stronger, so I definitely…

I love it too :) Glad I am not the only one with this issue! Helps the situation suck a little less.

Hahaha... I know right! :)
-
That's awesome... its like a modern day girdle!

I have never tried them but hear magical things happen when you wear them. I have the awkward thigh thing where my thighs are smaller than what should be proportinate to my butt and hips so i sort of resemble a cupcake. I bet they would fix that problem area as well :)
-
hahaha... i can almost cup mine as well :blushing: I guess if it doesn't go away I will just have to embrace my VW Bonnett (still loving this)!
-
bahahah! best description right there!!!
-
yup!! I think all I own now is shirts that come to the top of my thighs!
-
Wow... that would be an awkward explanation!

Thanks for all the replies! Makes me feel more confident that once I lose more I wont feel as though my downstairs is entering the room before me!

Turbo Marshall - This would sound GREAT if I was a man :)

Even though this thread is at page 12 and my reply probably wont even be seen... I still want to say my peace :) First I have to say, raise your children how you want to and don't stress to much about "messing them up". If that's all we worry about all the time, we would eventually all need to become mutes with no…

Totally agree with this!!

Love it! Thanks for sharing :)

This is my only "social network" and I don't really use it except to support others and be supported on fitness goals, not really as a "social" site. I was on FB WAYYY too much and last year just decided to delete it :) I do love MFP though!

Nicolette - thanks for the information. I totally understand what you mean when you say doctors are prejudice against overweight women. That is kind of how I feel about my OB. This was only the 2nd time I had met him (I just recently moved from the area with my original OB that delivered my first baby) and I don't think I…

Thank you for your kind words Nicolette. I do have a 4 year old so I know toddlers take lots of energy ;) haha (That is another reason, more energy to devote to her.) She was a big baby, 9 lbs, 4 oz. so I definitely understand the need to lose weight before we had another one. Unfortunately I received very mixed messages…

Thank you all for your kind words. Captawesome said it best that it can be a taboo topic and I am so glad that you all were willing to share your stories and words as well. Support is key to weight loss and writing this topic and knowing I am not alone in my feelings and that there are things I can and can't change has…

Good job!!! You look smokin' now! Your results are amazing :)

I want to take my daughter to Disneyland and feel comfortable taking her on the kids rides :)

Hi I am a 25 year old mama to a 4 year old! I also have the issue of my hubby and daughter not eating right! My hubby wants to lose weight.... but he is on the "I will eat junk food than work out" diet so I don't have anyone to talk to about dieting :) I also don't have a lot of friends that have children so it is great…
