  • My trainer just told me i was developing "Wicked definition" in my shoulders and I kicked *kitten* on my lunges and rack pull tonight.
  • They were known as bible bumps back in the day because people would hit them with a big heavy bible to burst them. I had one removed from my middle finger it and it has come back. I would have avoided surgery but it was causing a lot of pain affecting joint movement and causing other probs as a result. Its not as bad this…
  • Are you ladies all using a smith machine for you squats? or just a squat rack and bar? I'm a bit confused because I am lifting around the same or heavier for most of the exercise listed except for squats (where I'm lifting way less). When i use a smith machine I am able to lift a lot heavier than when i use an unsupported…
  • I get cold sores for a variety of reasons, including very cold, windy weather, stress, sunburn and being rundown. Are you running in the cold? In very windy or sunny conditions? Are you eating enough nutritious food to prevent you from becoming rundown? There are so many factors!
  • You look awesome and i love the shave back!
  • I actually realised today, that i'm doing this....and its working. Which is silly because i have been losing weight for a long time and the shorts i started in, fall straight to the floor when i try them on. So obviously i have lost weight. I think you tend to overlook it when you have made changes slowly. It's starting to…
  • When your fiance says he can feel your ribs. When you are disappointed to leave the gym because you have to go to work but want to keep going. When you finish a class you never thought you could do. When you can leg press 140kg. When you don't try to change the route when walking your dogs-to avoid the hills.
  • WOW not only did you lose the weight, but you became an athlete. Awesome!
  • Oh you poor thing! I totally understand where you're coming from...although in my situation my friend has just drifted away. Regardless of the reason, it still hurts. Someone told me once that that people will come and go in your life. The ones that go are just sent to teach you something. Sounds to me like there are…
  • lol wow. i posted then came back an hour later to 48 responses! Don't get me wrong, i still wear my heels but was just hoping they would hurt less....think i might need to invest in some chunkier heels like in the pic. They are gorgeous!
  • You can add me too! same goes for all you other ladies if you like :)
  • You are just gorgeous! Such an inspiration!
  • I agree with everything that's been said. I felt exactly the same in the first couple of weeks but it works, you just need to keep going!
  • This is definitely me! Although not the only reason. I'm getting married later this year and a baby will be our next step. I have seen quite few friends go from being quite thin, to carrying a lot of extra weight during and after pregnancy. I couldn't imagine starting off with weight to lose, then adding more to it. I'm…
  • 3 years ago, after a slow 25 minute walk i was exhausted. Today, I did my first RPM (spinning) class then went out to the gym and did an extra 30 minutes on the treadmill. No worries. You'll get there, push as hard as you can and be patient!
  • I wish i was Scottish (Aussie here). My fiance and i did a road trip through Scotland ast year and it was our favourite of all the countries we visited. Scots on the whole, are the most friendly, helpful people we've ever come across. We loved everything about you guys and your country!
  • Another Aussie here in Brisbane :) feel free to add me.
  • Bump for later...these sound great!
  • That's the best way to deal with it! you should be really proud of yourself!
  • Wow. I am so sorry that people are so cruel. I had no idea that so many other people had the same horrible comments permanently burned into their memory. I have so many examples of this. My next door neighbors dad nicknamed me nugget when i was about 6. I had a near fatal accident when i was 8 and remember hearing a nurse…
  • My details are pretty well up to date. Have only been using this thing for 3 weeks! It's not brand new though- a friend gave it to me after she lost it, brought another one, then found it again.lol at last weigh in i had not lost any but gained 2 kg of muscle. I have been working out hard for a 18 months though maybe it is…
  • 1 chin. Eyes that you can see. Cheek bones. Collar bones. No more bat wings. No more muffin top. No more back roll. A bum that is round and not shaped like a slab. Not hitting my tummy with my legs when on the exercise bike. Not feeling my tummy bouncing up and down when jogging or running intervals. Some i have achieved,…
  • SO glad I'm not the only one- my calories are right on track so i have no worries there!
  • What an incredible achievment! you are doing so so well!
  • Bump :) so many tasty ideas!
  • Ok. So i did include my hour or so of daily gym time in the previous calculation. SO i have gone back and removed it and come up with this number 2611. Therefore my daily cal intake should be 1611 + eating back the 400-500 cals I burn on my workout days. Am i finally on the right track? lol....sorry for being such a pain.
  • @heybales My trainer calculated that my BMR is 1700..... I just used the tool and the number it generated was 2647. Would i be right in assuming that deducting 1000 cals would result in 2 lbs and 500, 1 lb? Also, with this calculation say 1647- i would still need to eat back any workout cals. Sorry for all these questions!…
  • @ellaschmidhei I think that's why i'm finding it so frustrating. Because I do have a pretty good understanding of the right foods to eat and how to spread them around. I've been doing this for over 2 years using weight watchers but on MFP, it's killing me!
