It's not working! Someone please help :(
You guys are probably gonna hate me cos i'm sure it's been said before but i don't have time to sort through a thousand posts. 12 months ago i started on 1800 cals as advised by my trainer (my bmr was around 2000 I think) then as i lost weight he advised me to go down to 1500, then 1350. The whole time I was working out 6…

Random question, but ladies at goal weight. Are heels more comfortable now that you have lost your weight? I love my heels but god they hurt......should i be looking forward to pain free feet when i hit my gaol?

Do you count your muscle gain as weight lost?
My trainer did all my measurements a couple of weeks ago and I have gained 2.5kgs of muscle and lost 9.1kgs. Does this mean I have really lost 11.6 kgs? Might sound a bit silly but i have no idea.

help to kick it up a notch.
Hi all. So I have been losing weight for a long time, just doing my own thing and only judging by my clothes and not the scale(because i was too scared). Although i'm not sure how many kg's, I had dropped about 2-3 pant sizes before joining MFP 8 weeks ago. For the first 4 weeks, I lost a kilo a week then it slowed, to a…

How long until you noticed changes?
I have been losing weight for a good while now but only got brave enough to weigh myself 3 weeks ago. Up until then, i had been relying on measurements and the fact that i had gone down 2-3 dress sizes. In those 3 weeks, I have lost a little over 3kgs but can't see any difference! I'm not looking for drastic results from…

help with this recipe?
http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/10/crockpot-turkey-white-bean-pumpkin.html#more I want to make this but my fiance doesn't eat beans or pumpkin. The beans are fine, because i can just add them to mine at the end but what can i put in, to replace the pumpkin that isn't going to change the calorie value too much? Suggestions…

HRM not showing as many cals burned as usual.
I'm sure this has been asked before, but i searched and couldn't find an answer...so here goes. Lately my HRM (polar ft7) doesn't seem to be reading as many calories as it has in the last couple of weeks. I know the easy answer would be that i'm slacking off but I am working just as hard, even harder at times but it's not…

A small NSV
My fiance and i both have quite hot tempers and he has been driving me crazy all day. As we were getting ready to go to the gym, it all came to a head. I yelled at him "fine, you can go on your own!", not thinking he actually would. Then I heard his car start and the garage door go up. I was so angry that i put my trainers…

Freaking out about not exercising!
Ok, after 8 training days straight, I am having a day off. I've been going to the gym 6 days a week for months and always struggle when i get to my rest day. Logically i know my body needs rest and i am really sore from circuits yesterday, but i can't get rid of that nagging feeling in the back of my mind. Does anybody…

I am starving! I this normal?
So i started on here on Friday last week. Previous to that, I was doing weight watchers so i'm used to tracking my food and eating less than i would like to. For the first couple of days I was fine. I went over by 86 cals because i mis calculated on one day but have been around 100 under every other day. Today though, I am…

Teachers! what activity level did you choose when signing up
I was looking back over my settings and wondered if i had entered the right daily activity level. I am a lower primary school teacher and there is lots of up and down and time spent on my feet. I checked very active but i'm wondering if i've overestimated my activity. Are there any other teachers or people with similar…

Getting my head around the deficit
Hi everyone, I've been losing weight slowly for about 2 years and have just this week joined up here because i felt that what i was doing was just too slow and frustrating. My trainer has my BMR at 1700 and suggests that i eat 1500 cals, combined with 300-400 cal burn in the gym. This should put me at a 500-600 deficit.…
