  • I recently got engaged this past October and I met my fiance on eharmony. I signed up on March 10, 2009 and we were matched and began talking the very next day! I didn't even go on a date with anyone else....only him. He truly is my soulmate and I love him so much. I still can't believe he is in my life and we will be…
  • I go with whatever MFP says for the exercise. Usually the machines at the gym give me a little more calories burned than MFP does, but it isn't off by a ton! I would rather error on the side of caution than assume that I burned more calories than I did.
  • Target has some that are really long, which I like. I think they go up to size 2XL. They have them in capris and pants. Good luck!
  • You can do it. You just need to be patient and positive. I feel the same way about my stomach, but right now I am just focusing on watching the calories and hitting the gym. I think the toning part will come later. I know that is usually the hardest part to get rid of or tone and I haven't even had any kids. I understand…
  • I spend 30 minutes on the eliptical every morning through the week. I like it a lot and I have lost 24 pounds doing that with a spin class about once a week. I also watch my calorie intake with MFP and drink at least 8 glasses of water if not more a day. You should try it and see. I used to be stuck on the treadmill…
  • I do the same thing. I find it easier when you have a larger bottle of water and only have to drink two to get in your daily goal. That is what I did when I first got on here and now I find myself going over my water goal. I think you just get used to drinking it after a while. Good luck! P.S. I LOVE Smart Water!!!!!
  • I bought mine at GNC, but they have them on Amazon too. They are the best!!!!
  • Chew gum and go for a walk. Normally if I'm having a craving, I wait 5 minutes and it goes away. I chew gum a lot at work too. So I won't snack all day. Good luck!
  • I agree with everyone else. I go to the gym through the week at 5:30 a.m. before work. I set out my clothes the night before and have my water bottle filled up in the fridge. When the alarm goes off, I don't give myself a chance to think about it. I just jump up throw my clothes on and head out the door. After a while you…
  • I love spin class!!! I go at least once a week. My friend who is really fit wanted me to go with her. I was nervous at first, but my instructor is awesome and made me feel like I could go at my own pace. She said that no one would know what my tension was set on. She just wanted me to focus on pedaling the entire time. I…

  • I use the Elliptical almost everyday as my workout and I usually am at a pace of 77 on Level 1 and I burn about 400 plus calories for 30 to 40 minutes. Have you entered in your age and weight on the machine? If not, you should do that so it can better count your calories burned. If you have done that, then it sounds like…
  • I wieght myself once a week. I do it on Fridays so I can see the progress that I have made throughout the past week. I also do it first thing in the morning, at the gym, using the same scale so I know it is accurate. Fridays are a good day for me because it keeps me motivated to go to the gym all week and stay on track…
  • I save the majority of my calories for dinner also. It is easier and gives me more flexibillity since I am eating with my boyfriend every night who is a "meat & potatoes" kind of guy! No dieting for him. :) I say it's fine as long as you stay within your calories for the entire day.
  • I waitress as my second job, so I don't count those extra steps, but my best friend works as a server full time and she wears a pedometer and tracks how many miles she walked during her shift. I think you should be able to count that because you are moving the majority of the day whether it is slow or fast paced...you are…
