  • I don't have one of these but it appears that it is calculating the time Heart Rate is in the different modes of "Fat Burning" & "Fitness" Example using today 35:01 Fat Burning Heart Rate 10:52 Fitness Heart Rate ______ 46:00 Minute Workout I think a little mix of both is good. I like intervals where you jack your heart up…
  • I think we are making this harder than it should be. I would ask you "what did you eat?" Remember we are logging what we ate here. If you answered raw potato, I would log 15 oz of raw potato. If you answer baked fries, I would log 6 oz of baked fries. I don't know a lot of people that eat raw potatoes but I would use those…
  • This is correct. You either log the weight of the raw potatoes or the weight of the baked fries. You didn't eat 15 oz of baked fries and you didn't eat 6 oz of raw potato
  • Before Breakfast - Take 1 green M&M with 8-10 ounces of water After Breakfast - Take 1 red M&M with 8-10 ounces of water Before Lunch - Take 1 orange M&M with 8-10 ounces of water After Lunch - Take 1 brown M&M with 8-10 ounces of water Before Dinner - Take another M&M with 8-10ounces of water After Dinner - Take another…

  • I agree with edorice - all you are adding is 3 oz of water to the 3 oz of dry to make it 6 oz - Right?
  • I log mine as "Boot Camp" under cardio.
  • I like that, I used to have stairs nearby and spent 1/2 my lunch working out on them.
  • Yep, those are excuses. If you want it bad enough, you'll find the time to work-out. And then eventually the enthusiasm and the drive to continue to work-out. Just commit and start. Good Luck!
  • I really like what hopeC12 said, that would be my plan. Guarantee it by asking for a take-away box at the beginning and cutting all the servings in half and putting them away. If it's too tempting excuse yourself and take your left-overs to the car before you start.
  • Before a morning work-out I eat 1/2 a banana about 30 minutes before I start. After the work-out I wait 30 minutes before I eat anything, I do drink about 20-30 ounces of water, then I have a post work-out Power Fuel smoothie from Emerald City Smoothies with "After Max" and protein.
  • Strength training has a ton of benefits. One of the best is the increase in lean muscle mass. By increasing your lean muscle mass you boost your metabolism 24 hours a day. It also tones and shapes your muscles. Getting stronger and more flexible will make you feel the difference of your weight loss a lot faster too. In my…
  • I use mapmyruncom too. But I also have a Tom Tom car GPS. I can take it with me and it will tell you how fast I am walking or running, use the number you see the most. Good luck
  • I agree log everything, if you don't want to log it - don't eat it. Works for me.
  • Besides tasting better there are a number of things. Below is the link to wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olive_oil
  • Processed meats (bacon, ham, sausage, etc.) are killers to a diet regardless of their fat content. The salt alone will really screw everything up. Also, stay away from high fructose corn syrup (found in all kinds of packaged foods), it's more damaging than straight up sugar. Try Stevia or agave nectar as a sweetener, if…
