So I am one of the 800,000 federal employees that is furloughed and I am currently not working. It makes eating healthy and not drinking very difficult. Im a stress eater and just want to eat and get drunk. It's not like I have anything else to do....just had to vent some where. It is no fun. I am so much healthier when…

I had a baby in March and would like to get to at least pre baby weight by my baby's first birthday. That is about 15 pounds. 25 by April would be great. I've lost 5 since beginning of December.

I feel like we are twins!

. Looking forward to the support here as I am too embarrassed to share with family and friends that I think I may have a problem...[/quote] That's what's great about us!! We help each other out and don't judge! One day at a time!

Ran 6 miles this morning. Now time to host new year's brunch. Egg bake!!

Obviously drinking doesn't help weight loss but I was good at denying it.

@dawnbgethealthy wow after reading your posts about your weight being affected by drinks, it made me more conscious on my end and I definitely noticed a huge difference. It's so tough though especially with new year's coming up. I didn't drink yesterday and the scale noticed.

Omg, I always do this. I write a long reply and then hit the done button on top!! Ugh. Any how, this group looks fun! Im going to say 60 miles. I was going to say 100 but really should try to do more weight type days than just running every day. I would prefer to just run, it's "easy" compared to weights. Haha. I like to…

Its great to run during lunch, then you are done and the afternoon goes by faster! It is nice to have you time, and running is that for me!

I hope everyone has had a great week! Keep up with your goals during the holidays. Is there anything you want to work on during the holidays? I want to not gorge myself and keep running! Limit the cookies and candy!

Welcome!! Good luck getting back into working out and figuring out your post partum body! We are all here for each other

I told myself not to weigh myself this week, but I did. And now im upset! Stupid periods.

I go to anytime fitness, and run on the treadmill mostly. Sometimes I participate in group classes

Hello! Im a first time mom and had my son in March. Ive struggled losing any weight. I really need to get serious about losing my baby weight. I love to run. Its my thing. Ive run two races with a stroller and loved it. I live in mn and it's winter now so I have to hold off for a while.

On a more humorous note, everytime I read AF I keep thinking of the slang term, "as f..."

I drank 4 drinks plus shot but I drank 100 calorie drink and tracked my drinks! I avoided my favorite beer but still had a good Saturday! I even logged the extra cookies I ate.

So do you mainly lift? I have been a runner but always want to get into lifting but running is a crutch for me.

Hello, I had a baby in March. Ive struggled for months to really admit to myself to do something. I work out at least 5 days a week. It's been a struggle because I've had pelvic floor issues and tend to pee myself. Now that I think about it, my pelvic floor hasn't really hurt much recently!! But coming back to working out…

Im up for friends if people want! I had my child in March. Gained 50 pounds while pregnant. Currently at 190 and at this point any pound I lose will be amazing! I would love to lose 20 - 30, but in haven't seen the scale go down since April so even a pound less and I'm happy.
-
I need the support too!! Friend me if you want. I just started seriously trying to lose weight again. I had a baby in March. I gained 50 pounds during pregnancy, I initially lost 25 but still have 20 to go before pre pregnancy. I am 5 '7 and look back at the days I weighed 160 and thought I was over weight. Currently 190.

This is why this group is good, to some people 7 seems crazy, but it all varies person to person. I think 7 was just a lot for dieting purposes because they were heavier beers and probably 200 calories or more a beer, I pretended they were calorie free. I told my husband tonight I didn't like what he said. He also doesn't…

My husband told me today that it's gluttonous to drink 7 beers in a night. When he puts it that way....I don't do it a lot....ok I'm in denial but we are dieting together now, he told me I don't need to quit drinking, just limit to 1. Which is a good idea. But I can't for the life of me think of what hed quit for dieting.…

Im in the same boat and would love all the motivation and support I can get. I gained 50 pounds while pregnant. I initially lost 25 pounds when i had baby in March. I have at least 20 I'd like to get rid of to begin with. I work out a lot, but it doesn't help that I pee myself now and have pelvic floor issues, really tough…

I would also like to join! This sounds fun!!

1. Feel better about myself 2. Fit into my old clothes and really most of my clothes in general 3. Look good in a swim suit 4. Be able to run long races and feel and do great 5. So I will stop thinking about how fat I am 6. One day when I get married, I won't need to work as hard to look great for my big day 7. Have people…

It appears that the OP has improved greatly over the week! Great job! It is very suprising how much calories can be in a meal. I've looked back at restaurant items I've eaten and am very disturbed by the amount of calories and fat in them! Some meals can be 1500 or more calories, plus if you throw an appatizer in there,…

I don't want to sound like too big of a drunk, as my prior post about alcohol did get quite a bit of responses, but lower calorie options also have lower alcohol content. MGD 64 is 2.8% alcohol. So if you want to get drunk, you will need to drink more of those, thus still getting the calories. Or even tipsey. I mean,…

Thank you to all of the posters, both supporting me with my beer drinking and not, I did post to get straight answers. I do not drink every night. And when I do drink, I plan on it before hand so I make sure I have some wiggle room with the calories. I was just curious of other ways drinkers try to limit calorie intake. So…
