Yup, I think it does, obviously it's not a brisk walk, but you're moving and using energy, so I'd say yes

Where’s the etiquette in announcing to the world “I’m so beautiful women hate me†but men lavish me with gifts and fall over backwards for me cos I’m just all that.
-
I don't think it's ok to personally attack the woman, but I can't help feeling she asked for it. it's great that she thinks she beautiful and I think all women, all people in fact should be encouraged to feel we are beautiful. But the thing that pissed everyone off was that she thinks she's been treated badly by other…

No one is being mean, people tried to help you, you didn't like what they had to say, too bad. Facts are facts, there may be vitamins you can take to assist hair growth but the fact is your hair will grow at a certain rate and there is NOTHING you can do about it. I do sympathise, I know how it feels, my hair was very long…

IT WON"T GROW ANY FASTER:laugh:

Oh I did read about how many hours they do a day, crazy!. I'm not sure if we are on the same series here in New Zealand, but the one I watched last night several of them put weight on, one of them 8pounds. I can't help feeling that no matter how much you work out, it's all about what you put in your mouth.
-
I had the same thing happen to me a few years back and I was devastated , i'm sorry to tell you there is NO way to make your hair grow faster. I know this, because I tried everything. The only thing you can do is look after what you have to ensure it doesn't break off. If you want it longer you'll need to consider…

I've been watching the biggest loser and whilst it's incredibly inspirational I also think it gave me unrealistic expectations about weight loss. When I started working out I expected to lose weight fast, but it's been very very slow. I sure look better, I am getting toned and I've lost a dress size, but the scales don't…

And I have PMS, so anyone is likely to piss me off right now
-
I have to seriously resist the urge to get really annoyed with people who moan they are disappointed with a lose like that. 1.6 is a damn good loss for 1 week, lower your expectations

Seems the gym is a lot cheaper in the USA than it is here in little ole NZ

Crickey, I'm moving to your town :) ETA: that was at dad106

I pay $23 NZ per week, so $92 a month, that includes, monthly assessment adn review of my programme, measurments and weight etc, plus as many classes as i want to take. I think that's around $108 USD a month

Yay! Auckland New Zealand here too:wink:

thanks Amy :) the more I read the more complicated weight loss seems

Who is this hellitsdan the op speaks of  I think I need to eat more too, I don't eat my exercise cals, but the thought of eating more is freaking me out a bit, it's so hard to get my head around it.

I think 11 pounds is amazing, that's a realistic and safe amount to lose, keep it up and don't be disapointed, that is a great result
-
I know I had high expectations about how much weight I'd lose when I started working out and I think for a lot of people do, but the amount lost is different for everyone.
