I know this was posted a while back but I'm from North OKC (Quail area). New friends are always welcome.

I am blessed to be Sooner born and Sooner bred (although I can wait a good long while before I become Sooner dead). I was even one of the fools who thought they had enough of a chance against Alabama that I made the trip to New Orleans to support my Sooners. It's ALWAYS a good day to be a Sooner! Boomer Sooner!

Raiders of the Lost Ark (I even named my dog Indiana) Favorite song to sing in the shower?
-
No. What would you do if there were no consequences and money was no object?

I actually do track driving but not for the extra bump in calories. I wear a FitBit all the time and if I don't track it, it counts the bumps in the road (and you feel all of them in an ambulance and Oklahoma roads are terrible) as steps. I only want it to track the steps I actually take so I have to log my driving time.

deanna said what I was going to say. New balance has the only wide women's shoes I have ever seen (and believe me, I've looked.) I usually end up in men's shoes because I hate the way new balance shoes look, but that is a personal preference.

I get about as much attention as a white crayon. I suppose that means I am super average. I'm not good looking enough for a second look but I'm not trainwreck ugly so that people feel the need to stop and stare.

maybe 38?

I'm thinking we need to organize a MFP spandex shorty-shorts convention where you live. I shudder to think of myself in spandex...or short-shorts but for a good cause, I could rock it. This is definitely a good cause.

I am awesome. Not in any specific way, I'm just awesome in general.

you say that like it's a bad thing.

I think he does. He's been a naughty boy. Line for that job forms over here.

wait, am I going to the creeper van or the creepy basement? I'm so confused
-
What? An open invitation? Don't mind if I do.

Nope. I'm rockin what I got. I've lived with it for 25 years, I'm kinda attached to my body the way it is....minus the extra fat, that can GTFO. ETA: I take that back. Insurance considers TMJ surgery cosmetic. I definitely want that. Would be nice if my jaw didn't pop every time I open my mouth.

Going shopping with my sister and not feeling like I'm being judged everywhere I go. I'm tired of the "what are you doing, you are too big to shop here." looks, even if they only exist in my head.

Sent: I can't believe I've been replaced by people who clearly don't appreciate a good movie. I thought we were partners for life. Received: lol it's a long day. we're still partners for life. I got moved to a new shift and I miss my partner.

I had the same thing happen to me last week. It is water retention from the workouts breaking down muscles that you probably don't use that often. Keep at it but don't forget to take a rest day. I'm on day 6 and it does get better.

I thought I was the only one bothered by that kit kat commercial. I get that they're trying to be cute/creative with the crunching to the tune of their jingle but that song seriously annoys me. I hate the sound of crunching or the artificial pouring sound when anybody pours a drink in a commercial. Ick.
-
I had suspected a bit of water retention might be to blame but it seems like a lot of swelling. A pair of pants that has been almost falling off now fits and is on the tight side of comfortable and I had to loosen my belt 2 notches in the last 4 days. I just feel huge(er than normal).

40? .....or possibly 8?

I use the grape extra strength variety probably more than I should. I call them my magic bullets. They help when I'm super sleep deprived and struggling through a shift at work or school. Its not something I would drink just because I like the taste, but it isn't awful. Tastes like dimetapp but sweeter to me. A bit too…

I actually struggle with that too. My sister and her boyfriend live in my house and I am embarrassed to do the 30DS when they are home. They are both in really good shape and he does some sort of MMA-Insanity-esque workout thing and I don't like the idea of seeing me struggle though even doing a crappy job of doing…

I usually excercise at about 8 in the morning. Right before bed for me. I actually feel better when I do my workout before I start my day but I'm much more likely to skip it, especially when I'm already sleep-deprived so I excercise after I get off work. Night shifts make everything weirder.

All I can say is OWWW. Day 1 left my thighs feeling pretty sore, which I expected since it is what caused me to give up the last 2 times I started. Today I powered through and now I can really feel it everywhere but my arms. The soreness in my thighs is not as bad but my abs hurt pretty bad and my shoulders are just mildly…
-
I will be starting after I get home from work in about an hour and a half. I'm really going to need the push and support to keep going because this will be my third time starting. I always get so sore that I stop after day 1 or 2. I think I will be fine if I can just get through this first week. Good luck everyone!

I'm in! I could use the motivation and support!

Lack of self control and an overestimation of how much movement and work I actually do. That has always been the case and I have used every excuse in the book. My personal favorite was that my sister ate more/worse food than I did and moved less and was still a twig while I have always been very big. I am pretty sure I hit…
