  • Thanks everyone! I do like my neighbors that much more lol
  • Everyone is different.... I am eating to loose about 1% or about 2 lbs a week... I won't go under 1200 cals ( which the doctor said was fine cals/day) and a 1000 cal deficit would set me below 1200 so I don't eat all my excersise cals back to make a 1000 cal deficit. There is no one size fits all in weight loss. If you…
  • I feel good on 1200 too because I'm eating (usually) pretty healthy compared to a lot of calories of bad food like fast food and such.... Although I may have a Costco hot dog tomorow lol
  • I usually eat about half my exercise calls back too... My heart rate monitor is in the mail ( so excited) so I will better be able to see what I burn
  • I love dannand oikos... I think cobanni is too sour. I go to Safeway and get the 50% off going to expire in a week ones and it brings he cost down to a manageable price.
  • I like that idea! Hopefully I won't burn this summer... Whenever summer gets gets here, its been a long winter
  • Thanks!!!
  • Not sure the truth in the saying but "firt to gain, last to lose" , me it's the opposite my thighs are slumming down but my stomach is being stubborn! I do a lot of leg lifts ie squats and lunges and have noticed a great change in my thighs. Can't hurt :)
  • Bump... Exact same boat... I just don't net 1200 when I exercise because I think MFP overestimates calories burned so I only eat back 50- 75% of them
  • BA in criminal justice emphasizing in Pre-Law, minor in Political Science and just finishing up my AAS in Paralegal Studies
  • I do HIIT on the treadmill with an app. I love it and can run faster and longer each time.
  • You could do a normal invitation but also have a reception/party where you live before or after the wedding so you can still see the people who can't come to actual ceremOny
  • Vanilla Greek yougurt with chocolate chips or fruit mixed in
  • I would go into a nice department store or a Victorias secret if in the US and have them properly measure you. You are not obligated to purchase anything but they will tell you what band size and cup you are. It's kinda awkward to have a lady measuring you but I think it's worth it. If you don't want to be measured I would…
  • I've read others upped their calories a bit to "shock" their bodies. Bob Harper suggested (on tv of course) to do your exercise routine backwards.
  • I think it is different for everyone. I started at 228 and didn't hit my first plateau till 207.5 and then again at 204.5 (those pesky .5's). After those I continued to loose at my normal rate again. I also weigh myself daily to keep on track.
  • I had a 300$$$ gym membership aNd never used it. I went on Craigslist and for 300 got a treadmill , weight bench and set of weights. I use it almost daily! Saves me 30 min not having to drive to the gym and I can wear whatever I want! Less excuses too!
  • You at some point will probably plateau meaning it will stall. For some this is for months some days. I have plateaued twice so far and I just mix up what I'm eating and change my workouts and I get right back on track. It's math burn more that you consume and you will loose weight. Your body will get comfortable with it…
  • In the big scheme of things a weekend is nothing... Just get back on track and you'll look back at it as just another hurdle you overcame. Remember you are human, no one is perfect all the time. I like the quote " if you fall 7 times, pick yourself up 8" You can do it!
  • I LOVE my Merrill barefoot shoes. They look like regular shoes but have a wide toe bed ( lots of room to wiggle your toes)! They don't have much cushening ( hence the barefoot) and take time for some to get used to but they helped me with shin splints and are supposed to make you run/walk in proper form since you can feel…
  • I obsess in silence I guess lol. I do celebrate each pound lost though and I get positive support for that!
  • Thanks everyone! To those who asked...I've lost 26 pounds so far! Feel free to friend request me ( kinda new , started mid Jan of this year)
