Weird NSV

So I went to Nordstrom to spend my gift card I got for my birthday. I wanted a new pair of Toms shoes. I have two pair I purchased prior to losing weight (size 11). I picked out 3 pair to try on and told the lady I needed a size 11 (they don't come in 10.5). She brought them out and they all just fell off my foot. We both gave each other a weird look because I'm 24 my shoe size hasn't changed for quite some time. She asked to measure my foot and I'm now a size 8! I guess when you gain wait the lbs put pressure on your arch flattening your foot and when you lose weight it relieves that pressure. Now if only my pant size can follow in my foots steps (pun intended lol)
Anyone else found this true for them too?

Great NSV! I get really frustrated when people say that you can still buy shoes if you gain weight because your feet stay the same size. They DON'T! Looking forward to seeing if I can eventually wear some of the really nice shoes sitting in my wardrobe...0

That's awesome! I have not experienced this, but I will watch out for it! I don't think my feet can shrink anymore though, I'm a size 6.5 lol0

I know from past experience that weight definitely makes a difference in foot size. I am currently wearing a 9 and one of my NSV's is that my shoes are beginning to get really loose. Before beginning MFP, I went shoe shopping and discovered that New Balance had discontinued the walking shoe style that I have worn for years (literally about 14 years) and that I would not be able to get these next time around. I bought the last three pair they had in my size in the city (they called other stores to locate these) in my size and prayed they might change back by the time I needed new ones, Instead, I have lost weight and I am looking forward to going to get new shoes to see if the "replacement" style will fit! I am pretty certain that I will be able to buy a pair of these with no problem when the time comes! Wow, though, going from size 11 to 8 in shoes! How much weight have you lost (if you previously posted this, I apologize for missing this, but was anxious to post my story!!)
Thanks for your post!! and WAY TO GO!0 -

Wow! That's awesome! I'm a size 12 shoe and I know how difficult it can be to find women's shoes in size 11/12. I hope my feet shrink too!0
