Sign me up! I am right about the same time frame from surgery as you. I hit my wall very very early on. Rebooted this month and working toward kicking the last of this. Been looking for those further out that are learning the long term journey of being post op. I am on most of the day at work trying to keep my mind right,…

Great information from everyone! I appreciate all different perspectives. I guess I should also include I was a different sort of case for a sleeve patient. I only ever had 65 lbs to loose. I had absolutely horrible blood work and was basically a ticking time bomb inside. I have lost half of the weight, and I have a…

TDEE is Total Daily Energy Expenditure. The amount of calories that you body uses a day. My center lost our Nutritionist, I haven't met the new one. And I almost never see my surgeon. I have a nurse practitioner that I go back and forth with..... :D

I read this last week. Set backs are gifts. It's an opportunity to look at: what I want, why I want it, a plan of how to do it, and how far I have come. It also shows us how to cope better next time, and to realize there will probably be a next time, and I will get through it too. (Linda Spangle is who I read)

I like my scosche. Which has no chest strap. Works with my music on my phone. Syncs with my fitbit, which syncs with my fitness pal. But I go overboard a little.

I like the fitbolt website. You set how often you want the exercises to come up, and when needed you can pause the timer. I think it helps as a reminder to take a minute to do something good for yourself.

Doubt anyone will ready this... too far down from the original. Miracle noodles are great for asian recipes. Dreamfields make the one with insoluble carbs. I don't get caught up in the organic - non artifical hoopla. I know for me being diabetic they don't wreak havoc in my blood glucose. Plus I keep them in the cabinet, I…

No more thinking like a FAT girl. Also adding yet to statements... No way I can run 30 minutes, YET Reason 1 to loose weight- So I can LOOK like the Badass I AM! And the one that touches me most. Your best days are not your best days, Your best days are the worst days you went through and didn't give up!

I don't have a favorite quote, but I do have a favorite response.... It isn't fit to repeat in polite company... :grumble:

I use Kim's Magic Pops and Hummus for my "chip and dip" everyone that has tried them from me loves them! 15 calories for one pop that is the size of a soft taco tortilla.

You run into the person that you can't stand, and they actually smile when they see you. All I could think was, there must be someone else behind me. So you turn and look and no its just you. THAT person must have been a "alternative substance day."

Bump??

Agreed. I own the Fitbit and it does not give heart rate on it. I still love it though. Bonus calories make me happy!!
