  • This is my plan for today: Breakfast: 1 small fuji apple Snack/Lunch 1: Half a cucumber with a tbs or two of hummus Snack/Lunch 2: Green smoothie with banana, mango and spinach Dinner: egg white scramble (egg whites, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes) Lots of water.
  • I weigh everyday. First thing in the morning (well after one thing  ) I write down my daily weigh ins in a journal. It helps motivate me. I also graph them on a small whiteboard so I can see the trend (hey. physics teacher  ) I used to graph on a large whiteboard at work when I shared my room with a coworker…
  • It's not that I read it anywhere. . . just no one else seems to take them approach as me on fast days. Like, other people seem to have success actually fasting, whereas I eat raw veggies all day long. Usually my mouth gets tired. Haha. Just ate a whole cucumber (sliced). Nom Nom. Happy fasting!
  • This is my first time posting here (hi!) but I do at least one day a week of fasting. And I can't do the "cram all your calories into the end of the day" thing. I usually make a green smoothie and sip on that through the morning. And then munch on carrots or cucumbers for the afternoon. Egg whites and spinach/veggies for…
  • I recorded it as "circuit training"
  • Hey all I've been in and out of MFP for a while, but am currently getting my master of arts in teaching and my student teaching begins tomorrow and runs through april! i'll be teaching high school biology and physical science, though i'm a physicist by trade. I'll pop in with what free time I have (not much!). Just wanted…
  • if it was something you were doing *before* your lifestyle change as well, it probably wasn't working and you're probably better off *not* counting it
  • I'm in the maintaining and/or losing boat you seem to be in as well. I joined MFP when my weight jumped to 164 lbs last year. I set a goal weight of 149 lbs which I reached by summer. I took a break from MFP, only logging in occasionally to see how my days were looking calorically. . . . . but I'm back to see how much I…
  • Congrats!!! Can I ask. . . . how tall are you? I've made it to my original goal of 149, but its not right for me by any means (hi belly!) I weighed 134 in high school but I'm not sure if that's realistic now that I'm a woman if you know what i mean. I'm a little over 5'7"

  • Hi everyone! Sorry I was a little MIA. . . my best friend was in town from california and i didn't log in to MFP at all (but actually still did OK with my calories. I'm set to lose 1.5 lbs per week and I was 300 calories over each day, which is still a deficit). I also didn't shred on saturday or sunday. My weight has not…

  • yay! day two done for me as well!!!! (well technically day 5. . . i started on friday) i use 3 lb weights (well 2 lb 13 oz jugs of Ragu but who's counting?) and i agree they're not enough for the chest flys but i can certainly use the break. i'm so impressed by all of you doing REAL push ups. my bf thinks i'll be there in…
  • i also did shred late (for me) last night. i got home from teaching dance at like 9pm and my bf and his friend were downstairs drinking and before i could hang out i ran upstairs and shredded. i kinda felt like a dork! but i wanted to make sure i got it in! i feel like i'm stuck doing it at night now cuz there's not enough…
  • Good morning everyone! I feel like this group is going to be so big! I haven't shredded yet today (I'm a nighttime shredder) so here's all my stats (and how i got them, cuz i know i had a hard time knowing where/how to measure): Starting Weight: 155 (goal weight 140-something!) Chest: 35 (right across the girls) Waist: 29…
  • Awwww my brother and i are 16 months apart! It's fantastic! Well except towards the end of middle school / early high school we hated only being one grade apart. But we loved it up and until and ever since then! Ummm. . . . so this is embarassing but whatever, i'm frugal: i've been using big tubs of Ragu pasta sauce (2 lbs…
