After playing the P.T. Silent Hills demo earlier this week I broke down & got the Silent Hill HD collection & am working on that. I've played the original and Downpour before, but not these two. After 9/9, I'll be no-lifeing it on Destiny for a while.

After playing the Destiny Alpha & to pass the time til Beta/Full game and other good stuff in the fall, I traded our older PS3 & got a 360 & the Halo series. Played through Reach, CE, 2 and 3 so far. Just got the 2 Amnesia games and the Penumbra trilogy on sale from Steam & am mostly playing The Dark Descent so far. When I need a break from helpless insanity I go feel powerful playing the new Wolfenstein.

I'm replaying Borderlands 2 and fooling around with Infamous Second Son. I'm looking forward to Daylight and the DLC for Outlast later this month, and Destiny, Alien: Isolation and Witcher 3 down the line. Also, just saw that Borderlands: the Pre-Sequel was announced for late fall on PS3, Xbox, and PC...cool.

I watched some on youtube because I was on the fence & while it was cool to be back in the Last of Us world again, I think I can do without purchasing it. I was really hoping the rumors about DLC related to -Ish and the sewer people would turn out to be true. But those were ages ago. Oh well, still love TLOU.

Several weeks of physical therapy did the trick on both the tendinosis in my forearm and a partially torn labrum in my shoulder. Various angles of wrist stretches to loosen up the muscles in my forearm, eccentric negative curls with both wrist and forearm to strengthen the tendon. PT did massage and cross-friction massage…

5 Napkin Burger in NYC, with Rosemary Mayo & Brie was the best non-fast food burger I've had that I haven't made myself. 5 Guys make damn fine burgers for a fast food place. Red Robin's somewhere in the middle, but I never get the right temperature when I get a burger there.

This was my first week of NROL. I started doing the Single Leg RDL last week to work on my lousy balance and core stability. 100% of 2, so far. My wife drove around the city of Albany to find several good vantage points to cheer me on during my marathon, and the 5k was a little easier...for both of us. There'll be more, just not this year, and she'll most likely be there for most of them.

Loving my new NB Minimus Trails, & I run on about a 50/50 mix. You'd need to be used to low heel drop though.

It works ok for me for getting to sleep, not so much for staying asleep. I have tried it several different times, and on each I have stopped because of completely freaky dreams that bothered me more than lack of sleep.
