  • 5k's can be a bit like a big party. People with joggers, little kids, costumes- it depends on the event. My daughter and I did a 5k bubble run a couple weekends ago and there was a guy dressed like a shower! just have fun!

  • Hi all- survived my camping trip with my spastic dog! Miles for this week were 32. Total for the month is 84!
  • Here is my total for the week- swimming, walking, running and biking- 52 miles so far. Going camping this week so will get some hikes in!
  • I've always heard that if you will be lifting weights it is best to eat to help repair the muscles- think protein foods. However, if you are planning on doing cardio then it is best to eat afterwards to get the best fat burn. Not sure how true this is.
