  • Congratulations on your great results -- both in the race and with your awesome weight loss! I think your legs are gorgeous and they don't look bulky to me! I also want to compliment you on your style -- your workout gear is completely coordinated, down to the MATCHING DUCT TAPE!! So you're badass and you look great while…
  • There's a huge difference! Also in the first pic you are wearing vertical stripes (=slimming) and in the second you are wearing horizontal stripes (=not slimming). So if we can see such a huge difference even despite the stripes, you have definitely lost a lot of weight! :-)
  • You look awesome!! And you've got a great smile! :-)
  • -1 slice of whole wheat toast with pb and a half a banana on it -2 slices of ham with 2 wedges of laughing cow cheese smeared on them. I like to roll them up :-). + some fresh fruit -2 weetabix with fresh fruit -a breakfast burrito made with 2 eggs and 2 TBSPs of salsa in a whole-wheat tortilla -plain yogurt with fresh…
  • I'm an American in France! I'll send you a friend request. :)
  • I just started it again this morning, I was inspired by the B/A threads on 30DS. :) I did it a couple of years ago and I really liked it. I also run once in a while so I'm in better shape than I was 2 years ago when I started it. It was tough this morning but I have felt incredibly awesome all day! :D Anyways, I'd love to…
  • Thanks, Karleen, I'll have to see if I can fit some exercise in at lunch. No gym nearby, so I'd have to go running. Any other ideas?
  • ((((((((((((OregonLady)))))))))))) hope you feel better soon. :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

  • Way to go, Shanta! You're at your halfway mark!! WOO HOO!!!!
  • You look awesome! And Sept. 4th is my daughter's bday:  Congratulations on your sweet little Virgo!
  • I did ramadan for 5 years and I always ended up gaining weight, but then in the in-law's family the tradition was to eat heavy, greasy and very sweet foods in the evening. I think the other suggestions are great -- lots of protein and complex carbs. I know how tough it is -- good luck!
  • You are looking awesome!! Way to go!!!
  • Way to go! You look young enough to be back in college now! Great job!!
  • Hey coachmj, I started the C25K in August last year and stuck with it... Almost a year later, I'm still running, usually about 25-30 minutes, 2-3 times a week. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's harder, but I know I can do it and even if I don't feel like it when I start out, I'M ALWAYS HAPPY I DID IT when I'm done!…
  • Are you kidding, OregonLady? You look AWESOME!!! :flowerforyou: And Artschoolgirl, WAY TO GO! It's so great that you are happy with the way you look and are focussing on being healthy. That's what it's all about, no?
  • I do the 30-day shred in the morning, so I just wake up and change into my workout clothes and do it right away. Then I shower and have breakfast like I'd do anyways if I wasn't working out. I'm not hungry when I work out but I do drink at least 3 glasses of water! I love exercising in the morning because I feel great the…
  • You look great! And isn't it great feeling strong and healthy? Way to go!!!
  • Way to go, Jill! You are looking great! Thanks to everyone for all the inspiration!
  • Excellent job! I am positive you will make it all the way to your goal because you are obviously so determined! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: EllieAmancy
  • I just lost that much and I can tell. It depends on how much you have to lose in all. I have about 20 lbs. left to go. EllieAmancy.

  • You are absolutely gorgeous! And I want legs just like yours -- you have remotivated me! Kudos on all the hard work!!! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: EllieAmancy.
  • I try to run 3 times a week, usually about 20-30 minutes. I try to vary it a bit, going different routes and at different speeds. I've also added the 30-day Shred and am on the 3rd week of doing that, although I only do it 4 times a week. I'm on level 2 and it's kicking my butt! Once I finish it, I think I'll keep…
  • Thanks for sharing a bit of your story on here. I am also familiar with self-sabotage but in my case it was in the form of a 12-year relationship with an abusive husband. It's been three years since I left him and it is sometimes scary how wonderful my life is now. It can be scary to realize how truly powerful we are to…
  • Congratulations! When I was pregnant with my second daughter, I didn't want to gain the 40 lbs. that I did the first time, especially since I lost 60 lbs. afterwards! My midwife explained to me how to eat really really healthy and by following her advice I wasn't hungry and only gained about 30 lbs. (that I lost…
  • Thanks KTN and Rheston! I do track my weekend eating, which really helps me see how I don't do so well on the weekends. :noway: So I'll have to start being more careful there. Also maybe I'll try doing some different exercise using some DVDs I have. Thanks for the tips! EllieAmancy.
  • I started counting my calories and exercise using MFP about 6 weeks ago; so far I've lost about 6 lbs. I started off at 176 lbs. and my goal is 143 lbs. The first 6 lbs. came off really easy and now I'm kind-of stuck. I think I need to start being stricter about the weekends, when I tend to be too laidback about what I…
