Hahaha We both go to the gym so it's just kind of an added mini workout lol. I just thought it would be something to keep us motivated and I am doing like 70-80 squats (no weights or anything) so that has to be doing something....

Thank you! I'm still at the beginning of lifting and it varies from machine to machine, 40lbs for squats right now, and about 20-25 for free weights. I've primarily lost my weight with lifting but wasn't 100% understanding what was considered heavy.

Getting a tattoo. I don't have one but after this transformation I feel like one is called for. :)

My trainer is a guy and he told me that it's a benefit because he knows what guys like to see on girls. Plus, I'm less likely to tell him that I can't do something like I would a female trainer. Honestly though, go with your comfort level. If it feels odd after a session or two then I would request another trainer.

I'm the odd man out. I'm losing but I'm not logging and I weigh myself every Friday morning. I found that logging doesn't work for me. I become too focused on food and then I end up giving up because it's a pain to log all of the time. I know what I need to do to lose weight and it's working. I'm down 20lbs in two months…

Are your clothes fitting a little better? When I lose it's always in my face and chest first, then my legs (near my ankles) before any place else. My stomach, thighs, and arms (basically the spots I want gone) are the last to lose.

Hit the sale racks at department stores. Do you have a Kohl's? They have an 80% off rack and combine them with one of their coupons and you could walk out with a bag full of clothes for a little bit of nothing. You can also try consignment stores. It's hit or miss there.

Thank you all so much! I am still going to have the regular food and cup cakes for the kids and whomever but I wanted a few healthier options for the moms watching their waistline. :) I can't decide now if I want to make the angel food layered cake or just soda cup cakes.
