How do you squeeze in exercise?

My schedule is insane. I work about 60 hours a week (sometimes more) between two stressful jobs. One is case management and the other a counselor at a local hospital. I'm also a single parent to a 5 year old. Her father lives two hours away so all of her activities fall onto me. I work my full time job Mon-Fri 8-4, then my casual job about two days a week (usually Sat & Sun 2-10 but sometimes I will work from 8am at one job and then leave and go directly to my other job so my total work day is from 8am-11p, if I can get out on time). Then factor in my daughter's activities. It's just crazy. I do have a gym membership but when do I go!
here's my schedule:
Mon: work 8-4; sprouting readers 6-7
Tues: work 8-4; feed my grandfather and clean at his home from 5:30-6 (we all take a day to help him.)
Weds: work 8-4; church 6:45-8
Thurs: work 8-4; soccer 6-7
Fri: work 8-4; dance 6-7
Sat: dance 10-11; then work 2-10
Sun: church 9:30-11:30; then work 2-10
My work schedule on weekends and in the evenings. There will be times when my parents will take her to an evening activity if I have to work a double. I love always being on the go but it's seriously killing my waistline.

I wake up at 4:45 am, I am at the gym by 5:25am, I work out until 6:20am, shower and get to work.0

I say try skipping church on Wednesday nights, unless that's a real "upper" for you, otherwise you may find more of a rest/worship in a good run or good workout and some quiet time. You can involve your daughter if you don't have childcare.. then enjoy your time together. Unless you have responsibilities at the church, I wonder if this wouldn't be more beneficial to your lifestyle, and just as pleasing to God?0

Just an idea - bring some running shoes and exercise while your daughter has soccer. It may also be possible to drop her off at dance on Saturday and fit in 45 minutes of walking/running around the studio. Just some ideas to get one more work out in per week. Good luck!!!0

If you shower every morning then get up 30-45 minutes earlier and do a video workout or something then shower then head out on your day. IT might be tough at first, but after awhile you'll have more energy and it will be easier on you. If you have a free minute or two at work lift some heavy books or do some push ups or plank. Do you normally watch a little TV when you get home at night? During commercial breaks do jumping jacks, butt kicks, punches while squatting a little, lunges. Also remember what you eat is just as important! Could your daughter take a class at the YMCA or some place while you take a class too?0

Good ideas. thanks. My daughter attends Master's Club at church and I don't need to be there.0

Sounds like you just gotta do it early in the morning, before work. Sucks, but it looks like the best guaranteed time you have.
I'm not fond of morning workouts but they're growing on me. I do love getting it out of the way early because then I don't have to think about it, stress about it or dread it.0 -
I get up at 4:30, to the gym by 5:30-ish. Workout till around 7:00, shower at the gym and head to work. It cuts down your morning 'getting ready' time because you're going to wear what you packed, and there's fewer distractions than at home.
I saw a quote last week on somebody's signature on this site that said: "Somehwere, someone busier than you is running" I thought that was great!
We have to make time for fitness, because its usually not just handed to us.0 -

I workout to DVD's at home and get up early and get my workout in. Its not easy to start but now its such a habit I don't like the days I don't get up early.0
