Think squats when I go to the bathroom will help?

My co-worker and I have decided that every time we use the restroom at work that we are going to do 10 squats and 10 arm push-ups off the wheelchair bar. Because of drinking more water (and having had two kids), I probably use it 7-8 times during my shift. Do you think these two mini workouts will actually be beneficial? Heart rate doesn't really come up but I do feel the muscle burn at the end of the day.

Hahaha We both go to the gym so it's just kind of an added mini workout lol. I just thought it would be something to keep us motivated and I am doing like 70-80 squats (no weights or anything) so that has to be doing something....0

I wouldn't say that it would help with fat loss or anything like that, but I do always recommend squats. I despise them but they're my best friend. I've always had a problem with having slightly bigger thighs, and ever since I really started committing to squats about a year ago, my thighs have really slimmed out (although that is on top of doing cardio and other exercises).0 -

It's physical movement so it's always a plus. Repetitiveness will build muscle endurance over time.

oh my god that is mortifying.
so the lesson is that if you do your squats in the bathroom - either do it outside of the stalls so people can clearly see what you're doing, or go into the stall and be very quiet, or just take a break when someone else comes in.0 -
