I love fresh fruit and veggies and this diet works for me. I do know what is healthy food and I do know that together with exercise you will lose weight. With this book it helped me to stay on the path! The super easy planned meals, the guidelines and exercise made me lose 2 lbs first week.

Just purchase the book on my iPad. Although I do not really believe in diets, this book seems to be a good guideline and not be restricted to certain foods. I love lots of veggies, fruit, fruit and protein shakes so it is right in my corner.

Thanks for the info! One more question; I already eat pretty healthy, lots of veggies and fruit, nonfat dairy, etc so what is the big 'change"? Is it the combination? And also, what kind of food do I eat? You eat carbs, lean meat, fish and so? I definitely will purchase the book but would like to know a few more things…

Do you need to count calories? I hear and read only good and very positive results!

Is there certain food that you need to eat? I eat pretty healthy, but sometimes with a change of diet, you need to get specific items. How is the 'diet food" for Shred? No counting calories either?

Have been on 1200calories for three weeks, losing 1-1,5 lbs a week. I train 3 times a week, cycling for an hour. With 1200 calories I feel I eat WAY LESS than I did before but not spectacular weight loss. Should I try eating more calories ? Yes it has been years ago, but logging in you can still go to all recipes that you saved, post messages and so. The only thing you cannot do is tracking food of course.

I did WW a few years ago and I can still log in for the recipes I saved. I am doing WW again, got two cook books, digital WW magazine but I am still holding back to pay for subscription. Reason is that everyone says MFP is the same but free. I agree and I track all food including fruit and veggies. Still feel there is more…

True DebbieLyn! I have been riding really long distances but you eat your calories easily! I track everything now, I ride 3 times a week but no protein bar, 'loaded' coffees or pb sandwiches and bananas for me anymore. There is a lot of sugar in protein drinks or power bars. Much better now to grab a bowl of cottage cheese…

So far so good! Not hungry and Iove dairy,so it is a good diet for me. I miss fruit terribly though; apples, grapes, bananas.....sigh. Sixth day today, although the Dukan Diet website's personal analysis said 3 days attack but I gave it some more, because I was not really strict.

Are you kidding me??? I live in Coquitlam too! (so Costco at Ottawa street, I was there yesterday and picked up a 3-pack nonfat Greek yogurt, LOL!)

Never heard of it. Maybe not in Canada? Anyways, best would be FF greek with no fruit at all. The less calories the better :) :tongue:

Thanks, thats awesome! One question though, since you are experienced: I have, love and had Greek yogurt today. They are fat free, one is vanilla flavoured with 19 gr of sugar, the other one is with strawberry fruit on the bottom and has 12 gr of sugar. Is that okay to have?

The other day i bought a pound of ground chicken. I made a tray of chicken meatballs, bit of salt and pepper, spiced it up with some cayenne pepper, and baked in the oven. They are great and yummie snacks on the go, cold or hot!
