  • um your consuming a lot of your calories in drinks....the healthy food is good but you could eat more if you drank less, switch to diet sodas?
  • I'm about the same as you, I net 1600 cals and for one week a month I net 2000 cals (TOM when i am out of control lol, I also exercise a lot that week cause I feel bad to balance the 2500 gross I consume in sugar/junk food) 5ft CW - 118 my exercise pushes me up about 200 cals a day and on a good day 400
  • When I started on 1200 cals awhile back I was eating a lot of the following 3 egg omelette (2 egg whites, 1 whole egg) with mushroom, spinach, onion and salami for flavor ( a little goes a long way) - 250 cals Soup broths - throw in a lot of filling low cal vegetables along with prawn meat or chicken for protein (60-60g)…
  • You can get 3 of Jillian michaels exercise DVDs on groupon at the moment, it's awesome. I really like her yoga meltdown. Check it out on you tube first though to see if u would like it!
  • I freeze my chocolate (buy buttons in assorted milk, dark and white) and they take longer to melt in my mouth...so the fun lasts longer :-) I also portion them off into little containers so I don't try to cheat and go back for more.
  • I am 5"0 and 123 lbs. my target calories is 1500 to lose half a pound a week.
  • bump to make these later, sounds delicious and i love lemon!

  • Just a different angle for you, when I had my second child I was about 10kgs overweight, and was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I had to really watch my diet to maintain my blood sugar levels so they didn't get out of control. At the time I was consuming around 3000 calories of junk to maintain my weight (think pies,…
  • Feel free toads me. I'm on the last 6lbs , 33 with two kiddies
  • Do what works for you, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Most people have gone the eat more to lose way because they have plateaued or stalled and needed to try something new to get the weight moving again. Or simply had hungers greater than 1200 calories. If 1200 works than why question it until it doesn't?
  • Hi, My suggestion is take a break and eat at maintenance for a week and then start again. Give your body a rest, it sounds like your working it pretty hard and your also consuming very little calories. Maybe worth a try?
  • I used to find it hardest to just start anything - like getting ready to exercise and often used to find excuses for why not, but if you can overcome that hurdle, just blindly start putting on your gear and going out that door for a brisk walk, or meeting up with someone that will hold you to some exercise, then once your…
  • oh wow, my hair is falling out like crazy right now, i thought i twas just because i'm returning to normal from having had a baby 5 months ago, maybe I need to up my calories even more? might just wait to see what happens after a couple of weeks as I've only upped to 1700 calories recently!
  • hi there, it is pretty tough isn't it ? I was originally on 1200 and starving so I exercised like crazy to earn more calories to consume but I was tired most of the time. The weight loss was very gratifying, however after 3 months of strictly logging and following the plan I am now trying a happy medium now of eating more…
  • I cringe at what I used to eat, mince and cheese pie and a cream donut for breakfast on my way to work. That is more than half my days worth of calories now! Don't delete just move on and be proud of the changes you make from this point on!
  • Yes it would be like seeing if you could eat at maintenance earlier. I'm actually quite active and exercise about 5 days a week for at least an hour along with dropping my older boy off at his activities and mostly carrying the younger 5 month old around. biggest change is the increase in strength and endurance which I…
  • Working in a biscuit factory where you can eat as much as you like and frequently being too lazy to pack lunch, alas 6 months later 6 kgs mysteriously appeared on top of the post baby weight :-(
  • Hi, Will do! I'll report back when I'm done :-) Think I'm just looking for an excuse to eat more really, have slowly been bumping up from the original 1200cals which was too close to starving for my liking. I feel like I'm cheating if I eat back exercise calories so i like the idea of eating at TDEE of the weight I want to…
  • I have this and it used to bother me cause the weight loss did not match the "efforts" but the pattern is pretty repeatable. I lose about 1 kg over night and then the next night drop another kg and hold that weight for about 2 or 3 weeks and then repeat. In the end I think it has averaged out to approx 2kgs a month. so…
