  • That's awesome, way to go!
  • Combat 60 this am. Man does that leg track just kill me!
  • Isn't it funny how after having a time of working out and eating well, if you fall off the wagon (like I have plenty), it just never seems as satisfying? I mean, yeah, I am eating what I want, but it never feels as good as a workout and healthy food.

  • Day 3, Combat Kickstart and Core Attack. Ouch. Especially after yesterday. And burpees are pretty much the devil. :)
  • Hi! Welcome to MFP and our little group. I am hoping that we can all motivate and support each other so we can all get the max we can out of our journey! I have done Combat before, so if you have any questions, let me know. As far as the eating, just make sure you include everything single little thing you put in your…

  • I started a group for us for anyone interested! Come join us in your journey! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/20829-les-mills-combat-support-group
  • I have done Combat before, I freaking adore it. But I also start to get bored around week 5. Getting up so early takes its toll, get distracted by other things going on in my life, etc. I started today with the Ultimate Schedule, and this will be my first time doing the extra workouts. Are either of you on Facebook? I have…
  • You don't need a whole lot, most of it is more or less within like a 5ft by 5ft square. There are some moves that have you shuffle to the right and left or back and forward. If you have limited space you can always do the shuffling part in place. Just make sure you have enough room to not kick your tv on those roundhouses.…
  • I am currently finishing a round of Combat and gearing up to start another one with the extra workouts on April 7th. Feel free to add me, I have done Combat before and I just LOVE it!
  • Thanks for the input everyone! I will check your suggestions out!
  • Thanks so much everyone! You all gave me such a boost!
  • Way to go!! I have never been a runner so you are an inspiration to me!
  • Thank you! You both helped me a lot today!
  • Needed this today, thanks for the thoughtful post!
  • I am not now nor ever have been a Beachbody Coach. I adore Shakeology. I only wish I could afford it. My mom gave me 3 bags when I did the Les Mills Combat program so that I could do the 90 days with their recommended nutrition. I LOVE the taste of the chocolate, way better than most of the other whey protein I have tried.…
  • Haha, have tried that. He is military and has his own workouts, they just aren't daily early am like mine are. Being an officer has its privileges I guess, lol.
  • I don't have a problem leaving him in bed, believe me, I get up at 4:30-5am daily and that doesn't change on weekends. My problem is that my house is small and has old wood floors. Kinda impossible to workout without getting him up when I am. And I don't run, too many knee/shin problems so I can't just go for a run…
  • If your knees can handle Turbo Fire, they can handle Combat. I am in week 6 of Combat and I have bad knees as well. I just did the modifications through my round of TF, and am doing some modifications in Combat. As long as you keep the intensity up, the mods are fine for bad knees.
  • Hey cjem! Thanks for your reply and advice. I am eating 1200 NET calories per day, which with my workout burn added in, usually equals 1500-1800 cals per day total. I usually end up around 26-30% protein, but I have thought about adding a scoop of whey to my morning ShakeO, and I like that idea, gonna have to try that…
  • I have done a few Beachbody programs (TurboFire and Pump) over the last year and avoided Shakeology because of the cost. I never would have tried it because I can't stand the taste of protein powders, except that I participated in a Clean Eating Challenge. It was 21 days of eating no fast foods, lots of veggies and lean…
  • Uh cause if I didn't eat back my exercise calories I would be netting about 600 cals a day. Not quite enough for my body...... To answer the question, as everyone else has said, get a HRM with a chest strap. They are fantastic, and I LOVE my Polar FT7.
  • I did Turbo Fire as my first program, lost 20+ lbs and inches. Moved onto Body Pump, lost another 5 lbs but a ton of inches. And now I am doing Combat AND I ADORE IT. I can feel the workout like I never have before and I think I am gonna get some great results with it! You just feel so badass when you do it. :) And it is…
