Staying Motived in a New Relationship

Hey all. I have been on a slow weight loss journey for about 2 years now. I have been pretty happy with my progress and sustainability and have no problem focusing on a program. However, I started dating probably the guy I will be with the rest of my life about 4 months ago, and also took some time off from regular exercise (and by that I mean I usually do TurboFire, Body Pump or Combat, something like that) because I was too busy with the musical I was in. Now, also dating someone new meant that we have been going out to eat a lot. So, of course I have put a few lbs back on and gained some inches.
Now I am trying to get back into the workout swing of things, and while I have no problem getting up in the early am to do it (I feel SO much better all day when I do), he stays over a night or two a week and LOVES to sleep in. So, I find it very hard to be motivated on those mornings to get up and work out. Any suggestions?

You've got the boyfriend layer, I can relate.
Try compromising - staying in late only on the weekends when he's there? I bet he won't miss you if you disappear for an hour or two, especially if you come back looking and FEELING fantastic that you didn't cave in and give up your morning work out.
Or better yet, take him with you.0 -
Maybe it's just me....but I've been know to leave my boyfriend in bed and go for a run. And we've only been dating for 2 1/2 months....0

I don't have a problem leaving him in bed, believe me, I get up at 4:30-5am daily and that doesn't change on weekends. My problem is that my house is small and has old wood floors. Kinda impossible to workout without getting him up when I am. And I don't run, too many knee/shin problems so I can't just go for a run outside. I could just wait til later, but then I have motivation problems......0

Haha, have tried that. He is military and has his own workouts, they just aren't daily early am like mine are. Being an officer has its privileges I guess, lol.0
