I do one whole egg and two eggs worth of egg whites, then I load up on sauteed veggies. (only a tsp of olive oil) onions, peppers, zucchini, spinach. cook up your veggies and then pour the eggs over the top and scramble it up. Soo good!! and it works out to about 300 cal. If you have the time it is my favorite breakfast…

I have found them helpful for lunches when I am having to really pull it in with my calories. I'm trying to keep lunch at about 300 calories and that is about what most of the meals are. I don't have to think about my portion size and calorie counting. It is all done for me. Lunch time for me is crazy so it is one less…

You look great! Keep up the great work. I can relate to having a hard time seeing the changes. My husband is constantly telling me and I can tell because of my clothes, but I still see just a slightly smaller version of the same body. Make sense? It's like I am just a smaller fat girl. Don't give up though. keep speaking…

I'm in too!! I am 5'3" and hoping to hit 179 at my weigh in tomorrow. I have lost 38 lbs. and am hoping to get to 140. My insane goal for Aug. is participating in a Go Girl Triathlon on Aug 25th. So now my workouts are all about training for that. WOOO!!

I agree that MFP is way off. I tried to not pay too much attention to the values until I got my HRM, but was still a bit shocked by how off they were. I think a HRM is your best bet.

SW: 219 CW 191 GW: 140 I am 5'3" and been at this for about 100 days. I have gone from an 18 to 14-16 and I am thrilled. I just fit into a swimsuit that is a 14 and last year it was 18 and I wasn't comfortable in it. Woo Hoo!

Woo Hoo!! I can relate. I didn't think I would be so excited to not have any shorts that fit for the summer. I also just got back into my wedding ring!!

I have had 6 kids, 2 of them by c section (yes I said 6). I am only about a third of the way to my goal, but I have resigned myself to the stretch marks and loose skin. I had an emergency bowel resection in the middle of the kids, so I have a scar that goes from my belly button down to the c section scars (not attractive…

I use my HRM and log it as circuit training. My HRM calculates the calories burned so I plug those in. I was getting frustrated too with not knowing how to log them.

I am also doing the c25k plan (only on week two). I have been doing the P90X workouts for a couple of months. I never even did the fit test, I am quite certain I would not have passed it. The work outs are Awesome! but they are tough. As long as you are smart about modifying I don't see why you couldn't start it. Now all…

I will echo the posts that say to drink more water. I think that is huge. Save the diet cokes and lattes for treats, not every day. Something else to think about...your body could be reacting to something in your diet. I have a lot of friends that cleared up skin issues after making dietary changes like going gluten free…

Thank you so much guys. It is just nice to know that I am not the only one that feels like this. I so appreciate the encouragement. Now it is time to take a deep breath and carry on.

$585 a month for a family of 8 (all kids pretty big eaters) includes everything (cleaning, hygiene, pet food (two dogs) and toiletries). I know it technically be done cheaper, but I am a homeschool mom and don't have the time or patience for clipping coupons or driving to a bunch of places to make good on all the deals. I…

A green smoothie I like is two hand fills of baby spinach, half a banana or so, and a cup of chunked fresh pineapple. Oh and about half a cup of water (but it think fresh juiced orange juice would be yummy). Blend that all in a blender until smooth. Have fun experimenting with your juicer. My husband and I loved ours…

Love it with fruit, and plain. But my FAVORITE is as a base for a blueberry pie smoothie. 1/2 cup cottage cheese 1/2 cup frozen blueberries 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 1 full graham cracker 1/4 -1/2 cup almond milk blend it all together (yes the graham cracker too) and enjoy. It really is like drinking a blueberry cream…

I have six kiddos from 13 down to almost 4 (4 boys 2 girls). One of our favorites are chicken enchiladas. I boil a bunch of chicken and then shred it in a food processor. Then I just dump in salsa until it is the consistency I want. Add some cumin (about 2 tsp or to taste). In a separate pan I heat up some olive oil and…
