Thank you all, what a great bunch of people :) My best friend must have radar for my moods because as I was sitting in my living room finishing that blog, she sent me a text telling me congratulations on reaching my goal weight and that I look great. I just need to remember to focus on the people that love me AND…

There's lots of stuff out there you can have as a snack Yoplait Light Fat Free yogurts are 100-110 calories per container, you can cut up fresh fruit and veggies, sargento has cheese sticks that are 90 calories, and if you want to indulge a little, there's a snack section in the grocery that specializes in 100 calorie…

It must have been something in the air...I did the same thing last night...I bought those 100 calorie snack packs so i could still indulge with my love of salty snacks and chocolate every once in a while...and I sat there and ate waaaay more of those than just 1. I'm starting to realize I can't have even those in the house…

Thanks for this post, I have to admit, I've been quite confused about MFP giving me back the calories I exercised off. What's the point of exercising if I'm just going to eat those calories back? I am concerned about 1 thing and hopefully someone can clear this up for me. MFP set my calorie intake at 1200 a day based on my…

same boat, @139 now, trying to get to 125 and tone up. Haven't lost a single pound in 9 days, but my jeans are getting looser, so I'm assuming the fat is being replaced by muscle. Going to measure soon to be sure.

6 years!! That's amazing, congratulations to you! I haven't actually joined any other forums, but I check them frequently and use them to remotivate me when I start trying to trick myself into smoking. I think I'm struggling to actually lose numbers because I'm already within my normal/healthy BMI for my height. On the…

Good luck again! It's not an easy road, the first week or so was suuuper rough for me. The depression was the worst, feeling like I was "losing my little buddies" but once I fought past that and quit trying to let my brain rationalize my smoking, I was fine. I hardly think about them anymore

I've been quit for exactly 3 weeks, 4 days, 4 hours & 13 minutes. I agree with a couple of the other posters, I would definitely not seek a food as a replacement, you're just setting yourself up for weight gain that way. If you absolutely can't help it, do carrots or celery sticks. I used weight gain as my excuse to not…

thanks guys, I'm gonna take my measurements like you said and see if there's any difference there over the next few weeks. i was close to throwing in the towel again tonight but I guess i should look at like, even if I don't lose anything for a while numbers wise, it can't possibly hurt me to get more active. the words of…
