I've got the same problem. Since this time last year, I've lost 50 pounds. I can't tell. My belly still looks the same, and no matter how much I do I can't seem to lose it. My doctor thinks that once I reach my goal, I might need some surgery to remove the extra skin.

I stopped drinking all pop last year. I don't know about the liver, but my doctor told me that the carbination can stretch your stomach over time making it harder to feel full when you eat. When I stopped, I lost 15 pounds without changing my exercize habits or eating habits.

I'm giving up feeling bad when I get off track. We are human and sometimes that happens. I've got to learn to stop beating myself up, brush myself off, and start back on the right track. In general I'm just going to try to be healthier.

I love the stuff. I can't drink pop so I'm constantly looking for ways to add flavor to my water. I'm not sure I'd call it a problem though. It's fairly healthy.

Call me nerdy, but I'd rather go to a museum and see some historic buildings than sit on the beach. For me, there is nothing better than climbing a million stairs to get to the top of a beautiful church and look out over the town. (Especially if you are in France)
