  • I encourage you to speak to a professional LSW. I had an eating disorder when I was younger, and for me, a big red flag was when I start trying to keep calories below 1000. I would also recommend you double check with a dietician and show them your log of eating. They can quickly let you know if you are getting proper…
  • I'm right there with you on vegetables. Ugh. However, sugar is my biggest craving. Would love to know some of your sauces/dips to get those veggies down!
  • As long as you are a healthy weight...ignore them! I say this having had an eating disorder when I was young. At that time, I had no idea what was healthy and felt fat while I was quite underweight. Now, I am obese and trying to get back to a proper weight for my height. That said, congratulations for all of your hard work…
  • Disappointed at all the negative comments on this feed. That was really nice of you to share! <3
  • How do you season your roasted vegetables @007Aggie?
  • You will most likely plateau soon. Try not to get frustrated when that happens. I have always lost the first portion quickly, as I have always cut out sweets and soda first. I also notice when I write everything down I am eating quite a bit less than I did when I wasn't watching my weight.
  • Right there with you! I'm turning 60 this year and have been inactive the past 7.5 years after an auto accident. I need to lose at least 65 pounds. I lost 50, then the next year gained it all back and need to do it again but keep it off. I would love to have some older women, like me, on my feed. My tummy used to be flat…
  • I have several injuries which interfere with exercise after an auto accident. I strongly agree with getting in the water! It takes all the weight off of your bones and makes it so much easier to move. Probably the easiest thing to do in terms of exercise. It was always surprising how it reduced inflammation. I also believe…
  • Hi luvleb. I have 65 or more pounds to lose. I'm 59. Used MFP 2 years ago with success, but unfortunately got off track and gained it back after another year. Want to do it again - this time I'll keep it that way! It feels so much better, lighter!!
  • I am not interested in surgery. I have at least 65 pounds to lose. I just wanted to mention to labgirl26...Please don't allow your husband to threaten you if you don't lose the weight. When someone loves you...they don't threaten you...they don't shame you - they help you! If he leaves over that, he wasn't worth your…
  • Loose weight??? Why not lose weight? Just sayin'...
  • I'm liking eatlessinseattle.
  • How exciting! Tremendous results and you look wonderful! Certainly hope you continue your success and are able to have as many children as you hope for! You are beautiful!! :flowerforyou:
  • A lot of upper and middle back pain can be from your head being forward or repetitive motion especially with your arms lifted. I have no idea what you do, but you mentioned the computer, and a lot of people on computers have their heads thrust forward (what we call military neck). If you don't have your spine aligned…
  • I'm concerned the book will add to women thinking they need to say yes to violence in sex (from what I've heard). Will this give more trouble for victims of rape being accused of asking for it?? Haven't read it, not interested, and disappointed people can't be imaginative on their own without someone else telling them what…
  • I'm not eating healthy yet, because I hate healthy foods, LOL. But, I do know we all choose how we spend our money. If you ever stop for something at a gas station or 7-11 type place, stop! There are so many places we nickel and dime ourselves into debt. I know this from doing it myself!! Beans and rice, Vegetable soups,…
  • College football fan here until Superbowl time...and my team??? Born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI and Michigan Alum, so GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BLUE!! University of Michigan Wolverines all the way!! (Sorry, I have a lot of Buckeye friends on here...) I bleed Maize and Blue and I've been singing The…
  • By how I feel and how my clothes fit. Congrats...I consider your trip out a big success! Any improvement is always success! Guilt is totally useless!! You said you did much better than you would normally do, how can you feel badly about that? Next time you go...try to do a little better. Don't try to be "perfect". None of…
  • By the way, I looked back and you've lost OVER 90 and I also checked your pictures...you have made a tremendous transformation!! I hope you can find an answer that helps with the frustration of slipping back and forth!! You have done so very well and you look great!! Be Proud!! Yes, you are skinny again!!
  • I lost 5 lbs, then started MFP, now have lost 20 more lbs. My problem started when I adjusted my calorie count to 1200... I don't feel full when I only have 1200 and I am handicapped, so I am limited in my working out. I do really understand the frustration of having days go up and down. I have stopped weighing myself so…
  • Five pounds a month is a great way to go! You have made such tremendous progress!! You were pretty before...now you are gorgeous!! Keep up the great work!!!! :flowerforyou:
  • Bubbleyo...beautiful smile and eyes. Adorable little girl with you! Dezmodus...cute smile!
  • My comment, too...having that diary open really helps for accountability. Don't worry about how you've eaten before. We all start where we do. You won't find people judgemental of your eating! We all have things to improve...that's why we're here! My eating is still far from where I want it to be, but I am doing a lot…
  • Who would I punch? No one...
  • Report the jerk! I did and he was forced to work from home! Saved a lot of women a lot of grief.
  • What don't you do with Black Beans??? If I'm hungry enough, I drain them and eat them out of the can. I'm not a cook either. (Can't stand for more than 5 or 10 minutes.) I like them drained and rinsed added to Zatarain's box rices. They aren't very healthy for sodium, but they are low calorie and very easy to make and…
  • I recommend therapy. This is not a topic you might not want to discuss with strangers. I am no therapist, but personally, I believe not being able to commit to a relationship is a problem from the person cheating, not the spouse. I am not judging you...I understand and people have these feelings all the time. When you took…
  • Terrific success! Congratulations!! You look wonderful! :flowerforyou:
  • My rescued greyhound is Maggie Mae (her racing name)...it fits her. The one we had before her was Rudy. I thought it would bother me having animals that were already named, but I liked both of them. Rescues are the best!!
