I guess it always comes down to people saying guys are more superficial and "type" conscious than women. I think that is a load of cr**! So, over the past several months I have started paying attention to how many "Men are *kitten*" comments I see on facebook. I have always been told that the two most important things…

Hmm, mine was just the opposite. I started this journey when I found out about me ex-wife's affair. Really, it just started as I quit drinking beer, and had no appetite. Now it is kind of a habit.

I agree with this. I quit about 5 and a half years ago, and noticed the same thing. They would stop including me not because they didn't care, but because in their eyes they were supporting me by not putting temptation out there.

I would turn it in. When I was 18 I was bartending and found a cigarrette case with $600 in it. I turned it in, and got a $20 reward. My dad said the typical "See, honesty pays" I replied bulls***, an hour ago I had $600, now I have $20. But I felt good about myself.

First, I would go into work the next day. Telling everyone to kiss my a** over the phone wouldn't be any fun. Second, do some mechanical fixes on my clunker. I would leave the outside all beat up. When you are poor like me, a clunker is sad. When you are rich, it is eccentric!

This is coming from someone who is jaded, and has been cheated on. From what I have learned/read, the difference is that when men cheat it doesn't mean as much. With women, they are often already emotionally checked out of the relationship. Many surveys also seem to show that cheating is now closer to a 50/50 situation,…

Black and strong! I log 10 cups a day, and it is probably more a lot of the time.

It doesn't bother me, in fact having someone who knows my struggles can be comforting. As a side note, I have yet to see anyone really healthy who is in orthopedicts. Guess all those knees and hips drive the point home.

Congratulations! It is a super feeling!

Lol, I'm down 121 and it really was eat less and move more. One thing I really track is sodium. I'm not sure if controlling my salt had as much to do with my weight loss as it did with my portion control. I have to stay around a single serving of things to keep my sodium in the 2500 range.

I run into the sme thing every other weekend. As a single dad with 50% placement, I do fine on my weekends alone. When the kids are here is when I do worse, hard to say no when they want pizza, etc.

Just had this conversation with a friend this morning. (Hers is great, by the way:wink: ) and declared firm and round, as long as it isn't jiggly!

This is it for me. I picked up some frozen, skinless chicken breasts the other day. When I logged them, 660 mg sodium for 4 ounces.

I am very proud of you, and proud to be able to call you my friend!
