  • currently bootcamp for 50 min 3x a week and then walking for 30 - 60 min a day on the weekends. Going to add in Zumba on tuesdays/thursday (and possibly saturdays dependent) for 30 - 60 min :)
  • My Fitness Pal :D I asked the same thing lol
  • I count them - I like the fact that MFP tracks everything, not just calories - so I can keep track of sugar/carbs/etc
  • I've only been on my journey for about 4 weeks now and had cut out pop completely... when I had my first glass of rum and coke on the weekend I was terrified that I would just fall back in to drinking it constantly... but we all have to life - and events happen. Enjoy those 2 pieces of pizza :D
  • yeah this was a few years ago and she had just recently had her second baby... I never met her personally but was told that she was quite in shape and just couldn't get rid of the belly flap... I'd rather deal with the flap for the rest of my life than risk it... and I know it's a very routine procedure, and anything could…
  • maricash: oooo excel and trendlines - I'm in weight tracking heaven!! I'm still going to stick with not weighing myself until bootcamp is over... but I like that idea and it makes perfect sense. Kristine: I'm averaging 1600 a day - and eating my exercise calories - the thought of eating more than that scares me :(
  • ooo http://www.ehow.com/how_2330621_measure-bust-size.html this says no bra, and says to do under breasts (with arms down) and across nipples. I'm thinking I'll need my husband to help!
  • I have a bit of a saggy belly from having my son 2 years ago, and my guess is it's only going to get worse once I lose all this weight... I won't be getting a tummy tuck as a friend of a friend died from complications after having one (blood clot, very slim chance apparently but it scared me off from ever getting one) I'll…
  • I'd also like to know if you measure with, or without a bra on?
  • Journey: I'm going to have to start doing the same thing too, I *think* I've lost a bit in inches as my pants fit a bit better, not much though... good luck to you and congratulations on your progress so far :)
  • Cari: Thank you for your post :) I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that if I eat too little, the weight won't come off - it's reassuring to read that it is in fact the case! Good luck to you!! Tainted: yeah I think I'm going to be in the same boat, I had been told that 'the more you have to lose, the faster…
  • thank you for the tips Tarale!!
  • him: LOL yeah I've been told that too, I have been cheating slightly and adding tea flavour shots to every 3rd water bottle... so that I drink the first 2 just to get to the 3rd... with the increase in water intake and my high sodium intake this week, it really does make sense why I put it back on... hopefully cutting back…
  • Thank you all for your responses! Kristen: I promised my husband I wouldn't weigh myself any more until the end of bootcamp... it's been tough, I've been so obsessed with my weight and trying to let go of that is hard. Heather: Thank you :) I will make sure it's put away lol tainted/amdahwd: glad it's not just me :) I keep…
  • thank you - that's a good point on the sodium intake... it has been high this week as I've been eating a lot of rice and adore soya sauce... :)
  • I've heard drinking water helps? But this is a big concern of mine too - I have 70 to lose, and already have some saggy belly from having a baby, I'm hoping the toning will help with that... would love to hear from people who have lost a lot and not had saggy skin!
  • for 3 weeks the scale didn't move at all, I *felt* like I had lost some weight, but my clothes weren't fitting that much better and as someone who has been obsessed with the scale... it's a hard habit to break. Finally, this past week, 5 lbs dropped off. so we'll see how it continues to go - but there was no big weight…
  • Anyone who would listen :) haha... seriously though - everyone I work closely with is aware, mostly because I have bootcamp at lunch on mondays, wednesdays and fridays - but I also don't want people to be offended when I don't eat their treats, or leaving cupcakes on my desk!
  • we do the same thing... I just avoid the areas where the food is put out now... or I'll show up a bit late so that everything is picked over and nothing looks appealing. It's tough when everything social revolves around food!
  • In general I've never felt like I have been treated differently, though I avoid a lot more situations now that I'm heavier (going out to clubs, etc... and always just use the excuse that I have a young one... though my husband would be more than happy to watch him while I have a night out) I remember when I was a size 14 -…
  • you're more than welcome to some of mine :D No charge! Mine's always been proportionally bigger than the rest of me... and I am hoping beyond hope that I lose most of it... I would just love to be able to wear a pencil skirt...
  • Personally I jumped right in with bootcamp 3x a week - it's offered at lunch through work for 12 weeks and I figured it would be a great way to stay motivated and be held accountable. I'm not sure how I'm going to continue after it's over, but I'm hoping once 12 weeks has passed I'll be so pleased with my progress the…
  • I completely agree - I was laughed at when I put on my bootcamp outfit the first day and everything matched (grey and pink) and was told 'we hate people like you at the gym' by another lady I work with. Why is it so wrong to want to be coordinated? I hate panty lines regardless of what I'm wearing, gym clothes are no…
  • fabulous! thank you both :D I have sent requests over.
  • Thank you Evilma :) I agree!
  • thank you Drusilla! haha yep + buzzfeed... hard to get anything done! thank gosh for my phone, at least I can browse while sorta working out :D
  • Thank you Katelee :) I have sent you a request. Thank you Chagama! Good luck with your last 6 lbs :D
  • Thank you Stephie! I have sent you a request :D
