I haven't read through this whole thread, so forgive me if this has been said, but you should check out Endurance Tap. Maple syrup packs for runners. I recommend it over any gels, or blocks or whatever else

same! i can run for way longer outside than the treadmill, and i get pain on the outside of my feet on the treadmill but don't get that outside wearing the same shoes. I'd take an outdoor run over the treadmill any day :)

That's what I was just about to say - for me, when I started out, I signed myself up for a 5k which gave me a goal to work towards and that helped me stay focused. I looked up some Just Dance videos on youtube tonight to do with my kids, and it was quite the cardio workout! Plus super freakin fun, we laughed the entire time! It may become a daily thing :)

I've tried a few, but Endomondo wins my vote for everything :) Just try a few of them out and see which one works best for what you are looking for!

I'm hooked on running, and even more now that the weather is finally getting nicer! That is definitely my #1 drug of choice...lol....but I also enjoy the burn of lifting, which i make sure to do as well!

I just did my first 5k sunday, and my time was 41.53. The atmosphere is so amazing that I am hooked! Already signed up for my next one, and obviously going to work on my time. Hoping to cut at least 3 mins off by my next one. The skill level and ages of everyone running were all so different, and no one is there to judge!…

I run and I love it....once I'm done! LOL! I'm not fast but I'm working on that. And my first 5k is next sunday!!! Can't wait :) I'd love some more runner friends on here!

HA!! I have that problem too, doing yoga with the dog in the room! lol That being said though, I do way better at home than the gym. It's mostly a timing issue for me - I can workout while breakfast or supper is cooking, and after the kids go to bed. Plus if I look like a dumbass doing what I'm doing, no one is around to…
