I started a Keto diet last week, the first 3 days of <5g/day of sugar were excruciating lol my body has stopped shouting about it now though xD

After being on a low-carb diet for a week, I've transitioned into a straight-up Keto diet - and my body has finally stopped screaming for sugar lol! I feel like everything is much more manageable right now. :)

That I can now walk into a fashion-based clothing store and not think or say "Oh, they'll have nothing to fit me in here..." Because they do! I used to be a big guy and had to shop online or at general supermarkets, it feels good to walk into a fashion shop and actually fit into their merchandise!

That when you first start at the gym you'll be sheepish about picking up a weight someone else is hanging around, but 6 months later you'll have no issue dragging a screeching bench through a crowd half way across the gym because you NEED it. Same goes for people asking how many sets you have left! first month - "Oh, it's…

Well done, I did the same thing coming off drinking 3-4 cans of "diet/sugar free" energy drinks per day, I crashed HARD, felt like I was in full on withdrawal for 3-4 days, headaches etc, awful, so glad I stopped though, I became too reliant on them to wake me up.

Hi Midwestern, Don't want to sound argumentative, but this is completely incorrect. Insulin is not required for muscles or organs to uptake and use glucose, please see this link for further information with a plethora of cited medical studies and peer reviews:…

Mostly right, however high blood sugar does trigger the release of insulin into the bloodstream by stimulating your pancreas, this converts sugars to glycogen for storage as fats in the liver and fatty tissue (it doesn't change it to a "usable energy" as you say, as glucose is already usable there would be no point).…

How after a few weeks your hunger and cravings simply vanish. I can barely eat a whole meal now that I'm able to distinguish between actually hungry and satiated/full.

That dating becomes phenomenally easier, used to struggle to get dates with the women I wanted, now I have 4 dates in the next 2 weeks all with absolute knock-outs :) Not sure if it's the appearance changes or the fact I have much more confidence in myself now, but something's working!

Nobody told me that my facial hair would get darker and more dense, makes sense as the skin is no longer stretched the follicles are closer to each other, my facial hair now seems black instead of brown!

I use mine ALL the time, and recently even upgraded from the flex to the charge, awesome piece of kit, use it as a watch but also counts all my calories and steps, can challenge friends with it, and it even syncs directly to your MFP, meaning if you do extra exercise, you automatically get extra calories to your daily…

Aww thanks! I don't notice it myself but a few friends have said the same!

Hmm agreed, and I've been there before but it really doesn't feel that way, it's never just sex, every time we do I stay over and we end up cuddling all night etc, when we're out and about we hold hands, even across the table at meals etc. Dunno, just doesn't feel that "cut and dry" to me.

This is 2 months, I'm currently 8.5Kgs down :)
