I want a date.

Calories are easier. There's no calculating necessary. Only counting. Also, I feel like I'm more in control when counting calories. I'm not sure exactly why. And calorie counting is free!

While I eat anything and everything that I find yummy, I believe this fits into your definition of "healthy". And it is amazing.

This is fascinating.

I feel like it's highly inappropriate for me to browse this thread while at work, all of these photos are quite explicit. I'll be back from the secrecy of my living room later :glasses:

I have recently discovered this blog: www.theoatmealartist.com I have only tried the brownie batter oatmeal (AWESOME!) but there are so many recipes I'm sure you'll find something you'll love.

A medium pizza, an entire bag of bread sticks and an order of cream cheese dip. I have no idea how many calories that is, but it was SO good.

In because I plan on dating again soon and these stories are crazy!

I believe it's all about portion control. Eat what you want, but stay within your guidelines. I also hate most vegetables, but I highly recommend trying them again if you haven't had them in awhile. Sometimes I am surprised by what I actually like when I try it again after a long time. As far as your water goes, have you…

Eggs (which are not low fat but are yummy) and cottage cheese.

Yay for new friends! :flowerforyou:

I'm not doing her diet, but I do make her recipes on occasion. They're pretty deelish.

I feel the same way. I HATE seeing my calories in the red. I just log it and stay off the app for the rest of the evening. I'm not hurting anyone but myself when I'm not accurate with what I'm eating.

The raspberry M&M's... I had forgotten about those. Now I am sad.

I vote for this list.

This. And once you have this conversation, you won't be worried about food when you go to her house in the future.

I had the sausage waffle taco and I think it was worth it. It's not super filling, but it was enough for me. It's one meal, if you really want a taco bell breakfast, make it work

I may have to try this.

When I am home, I use a bit of flavored creamer (either Coffee Mate or International Delight, whatever is on sale when I buy it) I don’t use sugar free or fat free because I don’t like how it tastes. When I am out, I use Splenda and the lightest milk available. And when I want a treat, I go to Starbucks for a Skinny…

I agree with pretty much what everyone else is saying. When your workout becomes too easy, add to it slowly. If you try to do too much at once it can be discouraging. Congratulations on taking the first steps to a healthier life!

You look fantastic and I bet you feel so much better! Great job!
-
I do this too. Love it.

I agree with this. I personally think it's better to start with smaller goals because they're more achievable and as you hit them you can reassess where you want to be depending on how you look, feel, etc. at that time.

Congrats on a great first week

I think everything is okay in moderation. As long as you're not over doing it, they shouldn't be hindering your weight loss. They're delicious, but give me heart burn so it's really easy for me to limit myself.
