Because I live in Florida and it is hot as hell outside. I love to run outside, but I can't really do that in the summer without passing out. I can't wait for cooler weather!

I work at a Greek resturaunt. Pretty much just stick to water and a greek salad. If they have gyro, that's not that bad for you. It usually fills me up with a few bites. The pita at my job is only 200 calories, so if I get a gyro sandwhich (gyro, pita, tzki, lettuce, tomato, onion), that's probably about 400-500 cals. But…

Subway's Buffalo Chicken on whole grain. Shredded cheddar, lettuce, banana peppers, sweet onion sauce, buffalo sauce, honey mustard, and ranch. So. Good.

I deactivated my FB after a month on here. I didn't really know or care for most of the friends I had on FB, and even though I don't personally know any of my friends on here, I feel like I connect with this community so much better. The whole purpose of this place is optimism, so MFP will always get my vote! :D

Soda, for sure. I don't even want it anymore. If I want something a little more exciting than water, I'll drink a half a cup or lemonade or sweet tea, then back to h2o. I don't mind. I kind of like it. The soda burns my throat now. :\

Push ups. I had a little chub there, too, but push ups have really helped. Definitely a noticable difference.

I usually weigh myself even if I know I've gained a lot. It motivates me to get my a-- back in gear.

I had actually been running before I found out about the 5k, but I still can't run a whole 5k. Honestly, though, I love to run now. I have NEVER liked to run. EVER. But now I actually can't wait to run in the mornings. :) I hope you find your stride soon. Either way, good luck! :drinker:

I've been going for 2 years and I enjoy it. It has been wonderful to me. And I don't mind all the food around me. It makes me feel stronger for rejecting it. It could just be me, though. p.s I'm sorry they don't play good music at your gym. They play great music at mine.

Jillian Michael's "30 Day Shred" (LOVE IT) And get some active games for a ps3, wii, etc. Those are actually really fun! I'm also doing "Mean Ab June" even though it's July.

Just take it slow. Try to manipulate your calories a little bit. Maybe by 100? And change some workout routines, too. Your body will get used to the ones you do all the time. Principle of muscle confusion. Just keep pushing and don't give up!!

I saw this really cool post on another thread similar to this one and the user said that she found a formula on Jillian Michael's website. A little over 3 calories per lb per hour. (3.167?) When I calculated it, I burned about 191 cals for 20 mins. :)
