Once every few months I do a big cook that lasts a while. I use the Jean Paret Company's Coming series book called Make Ahead Meals. She gives lots of great tips for freezing and some pretty great recipes.

I play and have been tracking it on here. I use the Soccer, casual, general category. There is a competitive category as well. I never include the time I sit on the sidelines. Rower is definitely the complete full body exercise with no impact. Please be determined with the rower though because it is not "easy" exercise like walking. Just keep your focus and you will get great results.

Thanks you! I have a tendency toward a number of these relapse flaws in thinking. I can now move forward realizing that I can think myself past a couple of these trains of thought. I will need to reread this every once in a while to remember how not to allow my train of thought to derail me.

I think the confusion comes in when people decide how active to make their profile. If you set it to light or sedentary, you eat back your calories. If you set it higher, you either do not eat them back or it's a crap shoot as to how much to eat back.

Awesome job! It's a good feeling. I am about to cross into the 170's. My last weigh in was 180.4. It's such a nice thing to see it going in the right direction. Couldn't have done it without MFP! I just know you will kiss the 180's good-bye soon too.

I have mine set to lightly active, and I add in vacuuming & mopping, but not other house cleaning duties. I don't eat back all of the exercise calories I am allowed because I am not positive that those calories aren't overestimated. I do eat back 80% of them though. I am still losing weight.

What position are your feet in during this measurement? Are they together or hip width? This seems extreme even for those days.

Kingsville, Ontario, Canada. The southern most town in Canada. We are actually south of Detroit (an interesting geography factoid). 5 minutes to the beach on the shore of Lake Erie for us. My grandfather was originally from Northern England, would love to see it.

The scanner feature is for iphone. You can use your phone to scan the bar code of the food item and the nutritional info is then put into mfp. The blackberry app doesn't have this, I am not sure about the android app.
