MREs are probably not what you want to be eating if you are trying to lose weight. These things are packed with calories because the people who are eating them need the extra calories.

It's simple. Stop putting garbage in your mouth. Abstain from processed foods, no soda (not even diet), limit your carb intake. Eat clean. Prepare your own meals (not from a box or frozen bag). Then, go lift some weights and do cardio on the off days.

The entire taco bell menu.

I could get with this. MEAT + MEAT + MEAT + MEAT. I know, make yourself a bacon weave crust, then put poached eggs and Canadian bacon on top. cover in hollandaise. PERFECT PIZZA.

I suppose it depends on your definition of healthy. To me, all that bread is just garbage.

There is no such thing as a healthy pizza. That being said, I would allow yourself one cheat day a week, and then get your favorite pizza.

Don't cut down. Protein is good. Your body will take what it needs and disperse the rest. Just drink your 8 cups of water (or more) per day and you will be fine. I have been consuming 1g per lb. of body weight (180) every day, I'm feeling pretty darn good.

I drink Dymatize which has 6g carbs and 21g protein per serving. Check it out.

It's not a big deal. Just make sure you are drinking lots of water so your kidneys can process it. I think for the last 2 weeks I've been going over on my protein, sometimes consuming 150 grams a day. It's ok, your body will get rid of what it doesn't need.

That seems unhealthy.

It's fine.

How are you not just completely dehydrated?

Well, unfortunately, you can't spot reduce fat. E.g., you can't do a bunch of situps and expect to have a toned stomach. It's a percentage kinda thing. So, you will just have to lose weight. When exercising your calves, do more reps with less weight, as opposed to trying to max out. Also, stretching will help.

If you're gonna join, now is the time. January is when all the gym noobies come out to play. The staff will help you learn how to use the machines, so don't sweat that. Furthermore, it's commendable that you are in the gym in the first place. Go for it.
