Protein

I keep on going over my protein, alot. About 17 points or so. How bad is that?
So strange because back when I logged with sparkpeople I was always below average on protein.
Anyone else consistently going over their protein?

    I am in the same boat as you! I am not a big breakfast eater and consulted a supplement store where I lived and told them what I was wanting to do. They suggested a protein shake for me, but that uses up all but 10 of my alloted protein for the day! What to do???

    I am and I think it's okay b/c I recently worked with a nutritionist and she said I was right on the mark with my protein even though it was high. I guess that's b/c I work out a lot??

    It's not a big deal. Just make sure you are drinking lots of water so your kidneys can process it. I think for the last 2 weeks I've been going over on my protein, sometimes consuming 150 grams a day. It's ok, your body will get rid of what it doesn't need.

    I tend to go over most days as well. I was wondering what I should do about it as well.
