That's fantastic, and you look good!

I'm 5'7.5", and 217lb. Currently a 16, although they're a little loose (just nowhere near a 14 yet).

Congrats on your baby! :D I use these too. I'm a 36/8F, but their 38F's (all UK sizes) are great for me.

If you're doing TDEE-20% (or whatever % you choose), yes. You eat the same amount each day, since you're eating more on non-exercise days, but less when you move loads. I would SAY moderately or highly active, but in truth I'm not sure. Your best bet would be start with that, and adjust from there. If you need to go up or…

This for me. Then I started uni, and ate more - justifying it because I was exercising (even though I didn't decrease the first time). Finished that and joined band - easier to have fast food when rehearsing or performing, after that became pregnant - I had severe sickness throughout, but my body let me eat takeout. All of…

Supposed to be 1400 on rest days (but I end up eating nearer 1550 :( ). Active days I'm on 18-1900, and lifting days 2000-2200.

This for me, too. Sorry I'm no help. Wish you loads of luck! *hugs*

So much luck on your journey! I started where you are..and honestly, the first step really is logging. Its boring sometimes, but soon it becomes second nature. And move as much as you feel comfortable doing, don't push yourself too hard. Find something you enjoy and try to do more of that. Find some good friends/family who…

I feel exactly the same way. But I'm keeping going just in case something works.. I'm having to switch up the HIIT. I'm physically exhausted since I walk 2x 50 mins every day with the school run. So I'm doing the HIIT by adding it into the walk twice a week and it fits much better.

I just caught up with the series - and it was this for me. The science was a little off, but the message was pretty much fine. Diet pills, programs etc are designed to only work for as long as you keep paying for them, and often they're too low in calories and nutritional content to be sustainable. I don't see why we…

I thought that some of the moves were basic, and some made me go read the book more,, and look for internet videos for them, and some I had to go ask someone because I still didn't get it :P But I love how varied it is, and the challenges are good. It's difficult and tiring and painful sometimes - but in a really good way.…

Convincing - My topic post. Doing NR was the best thing I did.. at least for me. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1073485-progress-in-a-fashion The short version I'm heavier in the pic on the right - but thanks to New Rules... The book is worth every penny.

Hope you had a fantastic birthday, and that you get better soon and off the crutches :D You're amazing, and have done so well!!
-
Yep, I log regularly :)

I was aiming for 130-135, but since I started lifting, and seeing the results from that - I've decided that my goal isn't so much weight based but fitness and strength based instead. When I get to 160 I'll see where I am and work from there.
-
Agreed on all counts here, too. Good luck! :D
-
Fantastic success!!! That's brilliant :D

Sheffield here.

This. Well, until I get round to getting a HRM.

This for me, too. Although I switch between the BMR (MFP's own) and TDEE methods depending on what I'm doing, that post has been brilliant. It usually is all trial and error though. I'd start with the highest number. If you maintain after a couple of weeks (nothing shorter than that), then drop it down to the next one…

There's a clear difference though between eating 1200 (and thus netting 500ish), and netting 1200 - meaning you're eating a lot more than that. If someone is exercising and netting 1200, then typically they'd be eating 16/1700 - which isn't BAD on the whole.. and while a lot of them can afford to eat more than that, very…

I was eating 1300 cals - netting about 700 maybe. Then read the Road Map. I was terrified, but upped the cals to net roughly 1200. I gained 10lb, but carried on even though I felt miserable - yay for great encouragement on here. The month after that, I lost 12lb, and so many inches. It was a great transformation. Now I…

Thank you :D I honestly didn't realise the difference until I went checking through an old album. I honestly thought I looked good. But looking at the difference now is amazing to me.

I move the coffee table onto the sofa, or into the kitchen, then do my thing in the living room. I have a barbell and a couple of dumbbells, with weights stacked in the hallway behind the kid's bike. I use an old road mat of my son's as a floor cover and set the computer up if I need a DVD. One day....

This. She said everything I could have said, only better. *hugs loads* I feel your pain on the losses, too. You'll get to where you need to be :)
-
That is great news! So glad you're on a better path to your goal! :D
-
Wishing you luck x

I think you're amazing :D

I love the show. Charlie had to have been my fave, although I doubt she's coming back :( Then Sam and Castiel (Still can't get used to calling him Sam and not Dean though >.>)

Congrats on the loss so far! You've done great :D
