Pizza and pork pies...this sounds like a terrible, terrible joke! I'd say you have to weigh your options (pun absolutely not intended) - is the walk at lunch worth it if you feel yourself being tempted terribly? Are there other times/ways throughout the day to get the walk in?

when I have a cold, even things like um, breathing seem beyond difficult. I can't imagine having to care for myself and a kidlet. I think everyone else is right on, and I'd like to add - be good to yourself, sometimes the stress we put on ourselves about sticking to a rigid path can be worse than extra calories.

I'm a big proponent of not denying yourself anything - which can make your lifestyle change feel like a diet. When I'm hungry for something, I eat it - I just adjust the rest of day accordingly.
