  • What exactly are you all lifting? Is this from free weights? I too have abs hidden somewhere, I just know it!
  • I am 5'1, started at 154 Lbs and am now 116 Lbs. Nothing magical eating wise, just cut down on fat and added more fruits and veggies. Exercise, most weeks, 7 days. I alternate with running and Jillian Michael's 6 week 6 pack. Occasionally I throw Turbo Jam or a different Ab video in the mix. In the summer I play tennis and…
  • My husband and I do the 6 week 6 pack and it is a killer workout! The only downfall is all of the strain in puts on my wrists from plank position. True of any plank workout though. She delivers results!!
  • I had the same problem! I started working out 7 days / wk and started eating healthy. I cut out fried foods and candy! I also started running every other day, starting small, as in to the end of the street and back. IT CAN HAPPEN!! Good luck to you!
  • I only started faithfully running this year. I prefer outdoor running for the amazing scenery and feeling like I am running to get somewhere. When I run, I always run eith my Ipod and sunglasses. Sunglasses make me feel as if no one can see when I am in pain from pushing myself further! :-) I now love to run and try to get…

  • I have been at 1200 calories since April, I also do some form of exercise 7 days per week. I have lost weight, inches, and still feel great. Sure, I have those times when it says I'm in "starvation mode." I was pretty strict about eating in the beginning and have gradually started reintroducing foods back into my diet.…
  • My husband and I recently joined a sand volleyball league, we have done mud runs, play tennis, go golfing, bike, run, go for long walks, turbo jam, and other various work out videos!
  • Hey that is awesome!! You are not alone, it took me quite a while to get there too! It does get easier if you stick with it! Keep up the great work, so excited for you!!!!!
  • My husband came home and said "lets try my fitness pal." I logged for one day and now, 135 days of uninterrupted logging, here I am! 31 lbs lighter and 6 sizes smaller. It really hit home when I saw a picture of myself at Universal Studios last year and compared it with my Warrior Dash picture from this year. My…

  • For me, I plan to eat lunch a little after noon. Then, I bring 2 snacks with me to work to have around 2:30 and 4, knowing that I leave work at 5. I found this to be a good way to get me through the afternoon and keeps me satisfied through my workout, which is usually around 5:30. My snacks of choice: 1. Carrots and hummus…
  • My husband and I just ran the Warrior Dash in Indiana last Saturday as well! This is our 2nd year and we have had a blast both times. There are people of every shape and size running / walking the Dash. As long as you can climb steep hills and have some upper body strength, you will be fine! Good luck and hope you have fun!
  • I drink dark chocolate almond milk. There is a little bit of sugar, but it's amazing! I also like the Weight Watcher's Fudge Bars and Ice Cream Sandwiches!
  • I "ran" it with my husband last year in Indiana. I could not even run a full mile at the time and did ok. This year I have been running every other day (most weeks) over a mile just to keep up with it. I have also lost 25 lbs. since last year's Dash, which I am hoping willl help too. It is a really fun race and everyone…
