Thank you for the great reminder! I have been lifting heavy and love the results. But I can't say that I have never let the number on the scale discourage me. I know better and have recently put the scale away. :)

I just signed up for my 4th half. I started running local 5ks and then my sister-in-laws signed up for a half, which I thought was CRAZY and declined the offer. After thinking about it, I signed up a few weeks later. My goal for my 1st half was to finish in under 2 hours. Good luck guys! Simply one of the best experiences.

I completed Turbo Fire and I do not recall burning that many calories per workout. I am also a certified Turbo Kick instructor and I have yet to burn that many after teaching a class. Everyones calorie burn is so different. I would recommend a heart rate monitor too. (It will become your best friend). :0) Good luck with…

I am not big on eggs either. I can only "stomach' hard boiled eggs. I recently came across "refrigerator oatmel" similar to the recipe that "laylaness" posted. I use museli instead of steel cut oats sometimesand toss in blueberries. When I am not having oatimeal, I go with a protein shake. :0) Good luck.

Not to throw another one into the mix, but have you checked out Chalean Extreme? Like P90X, it focuses on weight lifting. The workouts are shorter and it is a great program for beginners and advanced. I have completed the program 3 times and loved it (and the results) each time. I also did Turbo Fire and loved it too.…

I USED to drink alot of flavored "low calorie" drinks because plain water just tasted...plain (bland). After reading some articles on artificial sweeteners I have steered clear of these drinks. Adding lemon to my water adds flavor and no chemicals. I am a runner too.

CLX was my first Beachbody program and I have been hooked ever since. Chalene is very motivating and explains that moves so well. Keep up the hard work. :0)
