I can relate. I lost 80 lbs six years ago and have, sadly, gained it alllll back. Looking to get motivated and find community. Feel free to add me.

Hey! Would love to be a part of this group. It's my second time around in MFP and will be turning 40 in a few months... :)

Hey! This is my second time around in MFP. I lost 80 lbs three years ago and have since gained it all back. *sigh* Would love to offer some support! - Lisa

Glad to have you! :)

That sounds like a fun adventure!

I found a blog where the girl did it in roughly 65 days. Fingers crossed - something may come up where you can hike it. You never know! :)

We're planning to section hike some of the PCT these next couple of years. The PNT - being only 1200 miles - seems more doable to me with regard to time constraints, etc. I really just want to put on my boots and go...
-
Sounds like you get to do some amazing hikes! :D

Ah, we've yet to hike the Hoh Rain Forest. I've seen pics, though - beautiful! They don't allow dogs (from what I remember) and we always have ours with us, so not sure when we'll get around to hiking it. Dog friendly trails for us!

I did read Wild. Haven't see the movie yet. Loved hiking long before that, though! My husband and I love to day hike and backpack equally. Another trail that I want to do is the Pacific Northwest Trail, which may actually come first as it's a) closer to us (we're in WA) and b) it's shorter so I would only have to get a…

A good hiking group sounds great!

Thank you!

Hiking is my favorite thing. And how great you can share it with your son!

I would love to do the AT as well. I've read Becoming Odyssa twice (just finished my second read of it, actually) and loved it. My husband and I hike quite a bit. We live in Western Washington, so there's no shortage of hikes/snowshoe treks that we can take. :)

Feel free to add me. I'm back on MFP after a long break and plan to post regularly! :)

Back after a long break and would love to have the support and motivation of fellow MFPers. Ready to get this show on the road!

Feel free to add me! I'm not a mom (well, I'm a dog mom, so there's that) but I DO have a considerable amount of weight that I'd like to lose (roughly 90 or so lbs). So feel free to add me... :)

I hear ya! There's power in numbers... :)

You look fantastic! Congrats!

Fringe is a trip and The Following is great. Enjoy Jericho! Wish I could watch it again for the first time. *sigh*

Oooh, and almost forgot... Supernatural. Season 8 right now, but you can catch up on the back episodes with Netflix. Ah-freaking-mazing show.
-
Bates Motel is fantastic. We also recently got into Jericho on Netflix and (dare I say) actually find it much more exciting than The Walking Dead. (And that says a lot, because we LOVE Walking Dead.) Definitely recommend Jericho if you haven't seen it....

Sounds divine! Will definitely have to give that a try...

Thanks, Rivka!

I'm starting a 3 day juice fast and would love (read that NEED) all the support I can get! I've been juicing for about two months now, but I haven't done an actual juice fast yet. After this weekend (date night with the husband and just poor choices all around) I think I need to reboot my tastebuds... pronto! I have today…

Hey! I use this site: http://juicerecipes.com/ It's easy to use and each recipe lists its nutritional info. Hope that helps!

Avacado, cucumber and tomato splashed with Nakano rice vinegar and just a pinch of Lawry's Seasoning Salt. Delish!

Exactly this. ^^^^ And don't get discouraged. As the old saying goes, "This is a marathon, not a sprint." Once I started focusing on becoming healthy instead of dropping "quick" weight, the pounds started melting off. Make it a lifestyle change. Is 1000-ish calories something that you'll be able to maintain forever?…
