my favorite car was a 71 Charger. I really miss that car

It's the only way to go for me and with a little research there is no reason to deprive yourself really. I just found a recipe on kraft.com of all places for "Angel Lush Cupcakes" 90 calories a cupcake and no artificial sweeteners!

Diets don't work, healthy life style changes do. Just my humble opinion ;0)

I try not to have cheat days. Instead I find little cheats every day that keep me under calories. Like the new weight watchers ice-cream bars omg! 110 amazing calories. If I do have a cheat day I just really try not to go overboard. I look at this as a life style not a diet so I look for ways to cut calories that I can…

I recently started over too, feel free to add me Scarlett

Smores? omg! I would have ate them already. I really have to watch what I bring into the house. I'm just not as strong as I would like to be. I'm hoping in time I can improve on my wheel power but for now I am much better off just not buying it. Kudos on your resistance ~S

Hungry Girl is amazing for her low cal desserts

I share with my friends but I have had a few haters when I had it public. When I first started MFP especially. I slipped up a lot and it got to the point where I would not log everything because I was embarrassed and eventually quit using it all together. I like having it open to friends though. It helps me stay on track…

We can encourage each other, feel free to add me ~S

Awesome!!! You go girl!!! MFP has been a blessing for me as well. ~S

Welcome! This site is amazing. I find the key is to log everything, good or bad. Add me as a friend if you like. Good Luck and we're here for ya! ~S

I think what ever works for you as long as you log it all. mine varies a lot so I stopped getting hung up on the times I eat and focused on eating when I'm hungry and making better choices. I also changed my log to blocks of time, starting at midnight and ending at midnight instead of the default breakfast. lunch, dinner…

Try to remember that this is a life style change and not a diet. This won't be the first time you go over and you shouldn't feel to guilty as long as you keep trying and don't do it every day ;0) I still go over more than I like sometimes but I'm still here, still trying and improving my health every day. Good luck, we're…

Yummy!, Thanks for sharing

I have them put half the meal in a to go box before I even see it.

You will lose weight faster if you eat those extra calories you burned. Strange but true ;0)
-
Have you checked to see if you have lost inches? Are you drinking enough water? Sometimes you can't count on the dreaded scale ;0) Keep up the good work, it sounds like you are doing great!

The good news is she's a good cook. I'm sure she'll find all kinds of ways to cut the calories down and keep the taste in. ;0) Good luck and stay determined

I care, thanks for posting these sites. ;0)

I have three of her books so far. Between her and this site I finally feel like I have a chance at losing this weight. Hungry Girl really taught me how to eat yummy food w/o the guilt! :drinker: cheers!

If your calories are really low why skimp on the eggs? Nuts are a great idea, avocados are great if you like them, dried fruits are good as well. I like to treat myself if I have a lot of extra calories. Add some low fat ice cream or a vitatop yum! Dieting shouldn't be boring ;0)

If it gets my blood pumping I count it. Every day normal stuff I don't count:wink:

hmmmm, maybe I should look into a good juicer. I've heard great things about juicing.

I have the same issue. Drinking extra water helps the water retention but I still battle with cravings like crazy.

very well said

This issue is very close to me. The best advice I can give you is to be a trusted friend first and foremost. W/o knowing the full situation I can't suggest you talk to her parents. This could make things worse and you may lose her trust. The school counselor may be the way to go. Let someone else/adult take the brunt of…

I love to cook and think finding low cal ways to cook hi cal favorites is a challenge. So maybe something like that, where we could all try to calorie down the same dish and report our findings. Lasagna would be one heck of a challenge or maybe pizza? Just a thought Scarlett

I wish you could just log on from the site. I don't have a data phone but I have net access. All I can do at this point is surf the sight. Maybe that will change some day, I think it's a great tool. Scarlett
