Interesting. I'll look into that. Thanks.

My GI is super sensitive. That's probably all it was. But, it seems to have fully cleared up, even with the higher dose. I take a probiotic daily, so I'm good there. I think I may stick with just inositol for now, as it did give me my first "real" period in about 3 years. So, I'm hopeful it's all I'll need.

Thank you. :-)

Update: After day 5-6 my stomach issues calmed down some, so at the 1 week mark I did up the dosage to 1/2 teaspoon. So far, so good. I will keep going up once a week until I reach 1 1/2 teaspoon (3600 mg), and see how that goes. Other questions still remain. lol

Hey there. I flunked out of the Winter Blast challenge (I always forget to get on MFP and chat/enter weights/etc) and didn't participate in the second half. This time, I'm determined to change that. I won't be participating in the Amazing Race portion, as I have trouble exercising (severe chronic back pain, that I'm soon…

I have two husbands (one legal, not not), and one is underweight, the other is the high side of normal, while I sit here being morbidly obese. I'm also having trouble, being on a budget and trying to not only eat healthy, but make sure my men get enough to eat to not only satisfy their hunger, but to make sure the…

Mine varies greatly, sometimes with no rhyme or reason. I think my fatigue and pain affect it more than my general PCOS, but I don't have crazy weird hormone levels, so...I dunno if I'm helpful at all?

In case anyone was wondering, he did a full panel and it came back perfect on all accounts. Still no idea what happened there, but I'm glad it seems to have sorted itself out.

I can't participate in this challenge, as I don't own the bathroom that the mirror is in (I don't have a mirror in my bedroom). It's a great idea for those that can participate, though! :-)

I downloaded HappyScale to my iPad. I weigh twice a week (Weds and Sun) and so far with 4 weights in there, it's looking awesome.

I have adenomyosis, which is one reason why he suggested the Mirena. We're going to reassess when I go in for my 6 month checkup next month.

Feel free to add me. Welcome back to MFP!

I've been cycling the ibuprofen/acetaminophen on my bad days, and it definitely takes the edge off. I am on a fixed income, so I haven't been able to afford the heat patches yet. But, I remembered I'd used them before. Back when they were new. I think they worked well. Otherwise, because of my body pain I don't get out…

Here's my plan: Apply for financial aid at the Y so I can do water exercise to lessen my pain levels. Continue at the gym. 30+ active minutes a day, at least 5 days a week. Eat between 1500-2000 calories a day. Make healthier choices within those calories. Cut back on soda consumption until it's nonexistent (may allow one…

Thanks. I'll look into these things.

I'm in!

I experience this, yes. I have a slow of other health problems, though. Including chronic tonsillitis, which is where I always assumed my post-workout sore throats were coming from. I'm not sure if the aches are from my thyroid problem or something else. I have chronic daily pain with no diagnosis yet.

It was 0.488, the last time he had checked them (before the most recent time) he did the full panel and t3 and t4 were normal. That was a year ago at this point. When I go in next month I will insist on a full panel. As far as I know none of my other medications or supplements mess with thyroid levels. And I try to stay…

I tried to go through and add everybody in this post, but my computer is acting up, so I may have missed a few. If I missed you, or if you're new: Feel free to add me. I was diagnosed at age 21 when I had a laparoscopy to check for endometriosis. No endo found, but severely cystic ovaries. My hormone levels all seem fine,…

Sounds like we're on the same page. We'll do better. We just have to be aware of our emotions and stresses and fight them back.
